Our tradition for Love Actually - is when DW flips through the DVD's, and says "Hey, we haven't watched this in a while", then I make as many excuses as I can - until I realize in the end, it will likely work out in my favor .

Another quiet Christmas for me. Wife and boys went to Evansville to visit her family. I will be working on Christmas day. Don't feel sorry for me though, if I have a good day, I can make over $300, which will pay for my food next month at WDW.Merry Christmas Dads

I'm not doing much of anything. Those of us here are just on standby in case something newsworthy happens. I should be out of here by 10pm. I'll be home sometime just before Santa arrives. Then I will be back here at work 5am tomorrow morning, but only working until 10am, and I should make it home for christmas by noon.

Pulled off the Christmas Eve hit and run... sort of. Got home at 11pm, kids already asleep. Was kind of hoping to see DD before she went to bed, but DW informed me that DD was actually the one pushing for going to bed around 10pm because Santa wouldn't come if she was awake.

I reheated some apps, ate some cookies, watched DW and the in-laws go to bed, then cleaned the table, filled the stockings, put out the S.C. gifts, ate the S.C. cookies, and drank his hot cocoa, and then took a 3 hour nap before coming back to work.

I guess you could say I am on the second leg of my "Goofy"??

I still have to wrap DW's present when I get home. oops. I meant to do that before leaving, but sleep took priority.

Although Jaws on TV was tempting, DW are sticking with our traditional Christmas eve movie, Love Actually.

This has become part of our holiday rotation of movies. I enjoy the movie, despite its negative portrayal of americans. "Christmas is all around us" has become one of my favorite christmas songs as well. And I can't sing along to "All I Want For Christmas" without picturing the boy's face at the end.

I am a freelance director for MSNBC. because I am mainly a SAHD now, I only work weekends or overnights. I do alot of standby shifts working with a skeleton crew, providing live updates during "Lockup" marathons and re-airs. I will also do some full hours of news and the occasional major news event if it happens while I'm here.

What is the "Official" rule on page ownage?

Is it starting another page, or is it filling all 15 posts on said page?

As a newcomer to this august assemblage, I am curious, seeing as I ran a lot of posts in the last few hours. More than I have posted in the last month I think.

The whole page is super page ownage. As for the post count, since there is no topic, it is random thoughts, or whatever counts as thoughts. Plus, my smartphone (or perhaps it's the operator) can't multi-quote so there are more posts.

My youngest dd (7) found Santa presents, but DW said we were not getting up. So, she climbed in bed and tossed around with us for an hour or so. Then, she says she is going back to her bed and goes and wakes her older sister to open presents. So, before 5:00 AM, we are up and opening presents. All the loot is opened. I got DW a Kindle Fire. I definitely won the best present of the year. The girls are having fun with their Nintedo 3D-DS, and Santa brought the CR to go add to the monorail alont with Aurora's castle from DL. It's one big monorail.

Then, DW went and made breakfast. Here are some dishes you may know from WDW. The stuffed french toast from CRT Breakfast.

Both recipes are on All Ears. If you've never had the stuffed French Toast at CRT, it is awesome. The recipe on All Ears was it. It is the best breakfast at WDW. Have a Merry Christmas all.

I got my wife the Kobo Touch, and the kids a 3DS as well.... spooky.
