I think I have been to grocery store 5 times in the last 7 days and the gluten free bakery 3 in the last 4.

You and your brother and sister officers have my utmost respect. DDad worked for City of Inglewood (LA suburb) when I was a small child and we had a lot of friends in City and County uniforms. I cannot thank you, and the Fire Department officers, that keep up safe enough for the jobs you do and peanut butter and beverly you put up with. And whenever something happens, it is always "Why did they do (or not do) that. I am going to sue." Enough of the soapbox.

Just had an update from DW. She needed to make sure she had the right phone number for the manager who called her as it is not her immediate manager, but another in the building.

She has the work order but cannot seem to find the proper parts. She verified this is an AOG order (Airplane On the Ground) and when she gets it done, it will be brought to Seatac Airport and flown to wherever in the world this plane is sitting.

I am a television director, which sounds very glamorous, but I will qualify that statement by adding that it's for a cable news network, and we're airing taped programs, so I am just babysitting the network, providing short updates once an hour, and watching movies and on the computer the rest of the time.

Just had an update from DW. She needed to make sure she had the right phone number for the manager who called her as it is not her immediate manager, but another in the building.

Home safely with no confrontations with BIL. Crown Royal hit the spot and I was in a great mood throughout.

Then, onto Christmas Eve Mass. Our church had planned for 200+ extra that would not fit in the Church. So, this Mass included overflow seating and live feed in the Parrish Hall. I got summoned into service to work the audio feed. I didn't mind as I can definitely give back.

Now, we are home watching Christmas Vacation. The reindeer have been fed outside and cookies on Santa's plate. We'll add the milk later.

BOEING has multiple plants in the greater Puget Sound and she has worked in at least 4 of the plants and I am not sure how many different building in the 10 years she has worked for them.

Just finished my Boxing Day shoipping...

That's right - Not even X-mas, and done my Best Buy boxing day shopping.

The boxing day sale became available on line at 8:00 EST.

Bought a couple of accessories for the computer, and cases for the DS's, etc...

Also the REEBOK outlet near my house, started their Boxing day sale today. Entire Store 40% off. We all got shoes today.

I forgot to say, that until the DD's go to bed, all DW has to do is play on the laptop or watch TV. I will start dinner soon. I love to cook and she doesn't. (I am a much better cook anyway) Just have a few more presents to wrap after the girls go to bed (last night they were still talking to each other an hour after the went to bed) and fill the stocking and that is it. I don't know if we will be going to 11:00 church service. DW had a big disagreement with the old pastor after DMil passed away in 2007 and even though he has been replaced it there are bad feelings.

Our tradition for Love Actually - is when DW flips through the DVD's, and says "Hey, we haven't watched this in a while", then I make as many excuses as I can - until I realize in the end, it will likely work out in my favor .
