Just had to laugh out loud....

My DW and DD's are listening to the Muppets Movie soundtrack.

Addison just says to my DW "Hey Mom, the Wakka Wakka is coming!" :rotfl2:

Merry Christmas Dads!

Thanks for the heads up about the iPad 3.

Zerf & Mijo, very cool!

DW & I are talking about doing a road trip this summer (a la the Harbesons). Hope to catch up with more of you guys in person in 2012!

We are going try and get together with Dave at Huber Farms. It has a restaurant and other fun stuff for kids to do. And, I am going to take dds to Mammoth Cave for some tours and maybe to Bowling Green for cave boat tour. Be great to meet you if you're thru this way.

Fed - I heard that the rumor is it's coming out on the 24th of February. (that's Steve Jobs' birthday!) So we'll see.

Can't trust apple rumors too much.

Maybe I could afford an Ipad 1 by then, or does Apple still support it?

It's in the 80's here...the fishing rocks...

Of course, I had my boat hooked up to the truck this evening and was in the back yard...when I heard a suspicious sound....

I walked through my gate and stared at a subject standing on the deck of the boat holding one of my rods. I yelled "hey"...and he took off.

I chased him down and shoved him down when he got up and took a very very VERY ill advised swing at me.

He's currently a guest of the Sheriff's Office...

Well that wasn't a very intelligent thing to do....:rotfl2:

Already planning my Boxing Day shopping... :thumbsup2

Boxing Day: The Day after Christmas in Canada - with sales equivalent to the US Black Friday deals.

Ugh, glad we stay closed boxing day

Good evening everyone, tried my best to catch up over the past week or so, been super-busy at work, this is our silly season.:scared1: The store has been stressfull, but we are pulling through, it looks like my stock-plan more or less is working :thumbsup2 The stress could be releived if they staff us just a bit better. Too busy for the few amount of people we have. Today was the last full shopping day, so they should have anticipated it better.

We had the staff pot-luck meal, worked well, almost TOO much to eat :rotfl2:I have a feeling tomorrow leftovers are for lunch, although I heard free pizza is also in the future. My store Secret Santa gift was not there, but I was told it'd be there tomorrow, I don't care much for gifts.

Like most others, I'll be away for a while. might get on a look around Sunday afternoon before I head to my brother's place for Christmas Dinner, tomorrow it's work till 5:30, then to our traditional family/friends get together at my parents, which always goes to after midnight, then home, kids to bed, and get *ahem*, ready for Santa.

If I do not get back online, here is hoping everyone has a Wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever you celebrate. I hope for good health and good fortune for all.

"He had no further intercourse with Spirits, but lived upon the Total Abstinence Principle, ever afterwards; and it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God Bless Us, Every One!"

Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

Mine has just been so-so. The wife is in the middle of a 12-hour shift at the jewelry store (she finishes at midnight, 3 hours from now). Some of my friends from Incheon were supposed to come visit today, but they all bailed. So I've been spending the day cleaning the apartment and watching movies.

Thinking about going downtown (only a five minute walk from home) to see if there are any carolers about. If not, maybe hit up a foreigner bar for a few beers.

Tomorrow will be most of the same. The wife has to work again, but only from 12-10, I believe. Saved some of the laundry to do tomorrow so I'll have at least something to do.

I dunno...kinda hard to get into the Christmas spirit right now, even though I've been watching only Christmas movies today (Love Actually and Die Hard on one of the movie channels here, then Home Alone 1 and 2 online now).

Anyway, enough of my little pity rant. I'm used to the lack of Christmas-ness here in Korea the past few years(although, my current city, Pohang, has the most that I've seen since getting here in '08). Hopefully, when the wife and I have a kid of our own (I have two stepkids from her previous marriage, but don't get to see them very often), I'll be able to get the wife into more of a Christmas spirit and give the home a more Christmasy vibe.

Sorry, didn't mean to put a damper on the holidays.

Again, Happy Christmas Eve everyone! :santa:

I couldn't put it down last night and finished about 3am. Very good read. Need more content though. Does anyone else use goodreads?

I haven't had much DIS time the past couple of days and I don't see that changing for the next couple of days either. Just wanted to take a moment to pop in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!!
