Of course, I had my boat hooked up to the truck this evening and was in the back yard...when I heard a suspicious sound....

I walked through my gate and stared at a subject standing on the deck of the boat holding one of my rods. I yelled "hey"...and he took off.

I chased him down and shoved him down when he got up and took a very very VERY ill advised swing at me.

He's currently a guest of the Sheriff's Office...

Wow...You need your own theme music and slow motion montage.

The Roast Beast and the fixings for Christmas dinner just purchased. Got a good deal on standing rib roast ($5.49 per pound).

The menu:

French seven onion soup
Beast for me, a fake meat thing for the vegetarian
Some sort of potato
Cow juices and mushroom gravy
Butter beans
Cornbread (maybe) if not home made rolls
Cheesecake for dessert.

Pre-beast munchies TBA
Italian cookies for santa and his elves.

I am sorry. After working in Retail 9 years and in Food Service before that, I refuse to shop Boxing Day (December 26th) or the day after Thanksgiving (commonly called BLACK Friday). I have been able to do some online shopping before, but it was early enough the servers were not overloaded.
If you can handle the crowds and the stupidity of people, more power to you.
