Just checking in.

I am still alive and kicking - just been busy with Christmas stuff, work, learning Photoshop stuff, travel agent stuff, and trying to make time to play Modern Warfare 3 as often as possible.

DW received her Christmas bonus yesterday and it was more than normal. I am trying to talk her into spending some of it on a family vacation somewhere...

Somewhere....where Dole is whipped and seeing a mouse causes happy squeals???

Here's a question for all of you wise DisDads:

We've got a big family trip to "The World" coming up in March - it's a Christmas gift for our 3 daughters and their families (14 total counting wife and I). The kids know the date but not much more.

My wife has created cute itinerary binders to give them as a wrapped gift on Christmas day. All the details are included, airline, rental car, lodging, etc, etc.

She wants me to create a dvd with some videos to build excitement with the grandkids (excitement already there but she wants more). I know how to capture youtube, undercover tourist, type of videos.

But I was just wondering if anyone out there in DisDads land has already done something like this before (and might be willing to share) - or has any awesome ideas for me?

And yes, I have procrastinated this until the week before Christmas! Is procrastination a DisDads vice or virtue?

I can vouch that the root beer, bacon cheddar and chocolate cheese fudge are highly enjoyable. The chocolate cheese fudge basically tastes very rich and chocolatey. We used up our supply very quickly.

It tasted like fudge... but a little more creamy. It was really good. My mom tried it today and she couldn't get enough of it.

Okay... so all caught up and still awake. The last two days have been busy.

Looks like you guys had a great time in the city! I wanted to get down there to see the Christmas decorations but it just didn't happen. I guess there is always next year.

Gross out time. And I apologize for that and the fact this is going to be long. Couldn’t sleep so I decided to write. Forgive my babbling.

I'm glad you went to get checked out... who knows what a few more days at home would have done.

The reason the podcast is ending is that Henry Work is leaving TouringPlans.com, because he's taken a job as a senior Web developer for a new group within Disney called DWI - Disney Web Interactive. Henry was the "host" of Betamouse, and wasn't going to be able to do it anymore.

I don't know if you all remember a few weeks ago when the Giants and Packers played. Barry & I bet on the game. I left it up to him if he wanted to give me points or not and he decided he would give me 7. We all know the Giants lost but only by 3 points. So that meant that I won!

Thanks for the info... That's too bad, I enjoyed that podcast. I've gotten into the habit of listening to Disney podcasts when I run, and since I've been upping my mileage for the marathon, I've been going through them pretty quick... There are still a handful of good ones out there though.

Do you have the most recent iMovie? It is included. All you do is drop the clips in and change the texts when needed. I did a few for the HS Marching Band. I am waiting on getting some info from the Band Director to finish a few others and to create a DVD. If you want to check them out, go to youtube and search for videos I uploaded, I am alanapapa there too.

The weekend is here...I was supposed to be on call but one of my co workers decided he wanted some extra holiday cash and is going to pick up everything until Monday morning except for 12 hours...heck I work more than that in a day a lot of times so spreading out 12 hours of call over a weekend is not a bad deal at all!!

I am sure that it is going to be a busy weekend before Christmas for everyone!! I still have to find time to get the kids out to buy something for Shari from them.
