I'm shocked to see how many people are driving in this crap. I swear we are busier today than we were yesterday. If I could have turned around on the way to work - I would have gone straight home. But I couldn't turn around anywhere! We are at a Level Two - with surrounding counties at a Level Three - and not allowed to leave. I don't want to say "not allowed" ... but might as well stay for another hour and a half.

Chanon - I hope you have a safe drive home! The only weather we get that have "levels" are tornadoes, but the snow stuff doesn't sound like fun!

It's at 4:30. We start singing at 4, and were supposed to be there at 3. Our goal is to get there if and when we can, and at least be there for the unity candle song (if possible). We're leaving in a few minutes, and will get as far as we can ... if we can't get there, we can't get there. If we're going to be able to make it at all (in any way), then I think 3+ hours will do it!

I feel so bad for all of you with nasty weather. It is just rainy and almost 60 here. Please be careful!

It seems like we are in this little pocket where all around us is snow and we have been having mild temps.

Are you sure the church is open? There are 600+ closings listed on the channel 5 website. Our church already cancelled tomorrow morning's service (we have a very elderly congregation).

It is a darn good thing we don't live where it is snowy/icy on a regular basis. I would be a basket case with DH out driving around in the chip truck, and of course his drive to and from work in his car would really send me over the edge.

My cousin and my mother keep telling us we should move to Kansas. Um, no way! The job market for nannies can not possibly be good in Kansas, and DH would be out driving at dark o'clock in the SNOW. Nope. NOT moving to Kansas. I have always said if we move it will be to FL.

Yes, everything is going on as planned. They canceled their services this morning, but you know they can't cancel someone else's wedding! Besides, everything is clearing up throughout the afternoon, so by the time it actually starts (and by the reception, etc) it should just be pretty snow!




Still, if any of you pray, of course pray for our safety and decision-making.... and maybe a little bit that she'll just cancel while we're on our way!

I'm praying! (But I'm also praying that if she cancels while your on the way to the church that you can find a place to turn around! That's the only reason why I'm at work today - I couldn't find a place to turn around safely!)

Good Afternoon from SNOWY Ohio!
Yikes it is still snowing and blowing! We are now under a level 3 snow emergency as well!

I am very surprised, but the mailman actually delivered mail today!

Leighanna was very surprised with a gift from Robyn! Robyn, you and the girls just made this day for Leighanna!

She loves her Hannah Montana PJs. She loves them so much that she gave them a big hug. Not an easy task to hug PJ's.

She is wearing her Mickey bracelets, and wants to put her hair scrunchies in too. She LOVES her card. Marie is one of her favorites!

Again, Thanks Robyn! You brought a little warmth and sunshine to my little girls heart in such a cold and snowy day!

This reminds me of when my SIL got married. She got married on April 4th. Wanted a Spring wedding with spring flowers, and pastel colors.

Well, on the day of the wedding a freak snowstorm hit dumping 24 inches of snow. Needless to say, only a few people were able to attend. She had TONS of food left over, and lots of other things too. We felt so bad for her, but this was 18 years ago, and they are still happily married. So much for bad Karma!

I remember trying to drive home from her wedding. We live about 4 hours north of her. It took us over 24 hours to get home, most of which were spent overnight on a closed interstate, trying to stay warm with our car slowly running on fumes!

hi sally. i'm karen 27 and have muscular dystrophy (i'm a jerry's kid ). i am in the mist of finding a job (ill give everyone why i am back looking in a second). i am going to get my 2nd service dog in july. Shocker (my first) unexpectedly got ill quickly and within 4 days passed. so it has been 2 week tomorrow. ironically she also had a form of md.

tia- im with terra. when something i cant wait for i start saying --months --weeks -- days till ----. like i am now with getting my new dog. mom yelled at me last weekend which made me upset. oh well.

glynis- can you email me some good healthy crock pot recipes. we are not going to have a kitchen for 2 months so we need them soon. kitchen remodeling starts beginning of may and goes for 3 months.

here is the reason i am in search for a job. the YMCA has been b***s***ing around at figuring out how to do a drug test since it would be difficult for me to pee in a cup. then i got a call saying that the hr person wanted to talk to me about service dog and attendant helping me to put things out 30 before kids would arrive. had the meeting then she said that she had to contact their lawyers to see if it was reasonable accommodation for me to have service dog their and attendant help me for 30 minutes. well hr called monday and said that they don't think i could perform the duties that are required so no job for me. HELLO I CAN ASK KIDS TO HELP SHOW HOW TO DO GAMES because i physically cant show. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. oh well i went to 2 interviews this week and hope i get the receptionist position. i just need 1 person to give me a chance. i am so frustrated at society and their views of disabled people.
