I swear I feel like I just keep falling deeper & deeper into depression, something has got to give here. One minute I am up, the next I am down, frustrating.

im with you on this janet..i dont know why lately, but i have been feeling the same way..hang in there

Lindsay - I have never watched the whole movie! :rotfl2: I have only watched bits and pieces of it when DH has it on. Tonight he was watching it in the bedroom so I was spared. ;)

Janet - You have a trip to look forward to! You actually have TWO trips to look forward to! But I can understand how you are disappointed about not getting to visit your uncle. :guilty: Are you going to do something else close to home?

Jen - for you, too!

Thanks for the good thoughts for my mom. :goodvibes

Thanks, Elizabeth. I know we will have fun... I bought a spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, carrots, green beans and salad. We ought to be well-fed, and I ought to know Portia's lines from the last 1/3 of "Merchant of Venice when we get home tomorrow night! :rotfl:

That sounds delicious! You're a good mom. :goodvibes Travel safely!

I am feeling really bummed. We were suppose to leave Monday to go to Ky. for the week. I just spoke with my uncle & he is to ill :sad1: He had triple by pass surgery & is very weak, so I do understand. I am just worried that I will never get to see him again & this makes me very sad.

I swear I feel like I just keep falling deeper & deeper into depression, something has got to give here. One minute I am up, the next I am down, frustrating.

Lots of   :wizard: :wizard: Janet! I hope you can get out of your funk soon. I remember how much you've been looking forward to visiting your family. Will there be another opportunity in the foreseeable future?

Lindsay if I did not have to work tomorrow, trust me I would be seriously thinking of joining them. They have a very large RV & one more person would not make a difference. It will be interesting to hear how much fuel cost them :scared1:

I'm sorry you have to work tomorrow. Yes, I'm sure that gasoline bill will be the least enjoyable part of their trip. :scared:

im with you on this janet..i dont know why lately, but i have been feeling the same way..hang in there

Lots of   for you, too, Jen.

Did you and your cousin ever decide on dates to go to Florida?

We dont have anything booked, but if we go ,it will be july 12-19..i have that week off now from work as i had to pick a date!

ALTHOUGH--i was talking to my parents and if i end up getting a full time job for the fall, i may take the summer off. My grandma wants to take us all on a cruise and I will not be able to take off more time from work. Also, I want to be able to fully prepare for my first classroom!

Denise your bedroom furniture looks beautiful!

Elizabeth, Marci, & Deb hope you all feel better soon :wizard:

Kristine you really like blue dye :rotfl:

Bernadette love the picture of Emma & the colored eggs :goodvibes

Lindsay glad to hear Jonathan made it home safely.

Jen sounds like you had a great day shopping!

Elin :wizard: for Kristin. I hope she does not stress to much about learning her lines.

Becky glad the mattress did not hit your car

Robyn hope Emma is feeling better :wizard:

Debbie enjoy your weekend with the family!

Jennifer your dinner sounds yummy! We are having pancakes for supper :rotfl:

Amy your mother's cookies sound wonderful, I would love to see pictures as well :thumbsup2

:wizard: & to everyone I missed!

thanks...I'll ditto!! Except we had tuna noodle casserole for supper.

Bernadette - Good luck with the Space Center plans. Maybe one of these days I will make a plan to venture off of Disney property. Maybe. :rolleyes1

Janet - I love pancakes for dinner! DH grilled turkey burgers. It's always a hard decision the day I go to the grocery store because we have 7 or 8 things to choose from! :rotfl2: By the end of the week we are eating whatever is left in the fridge.

My mom called today to tell me there is something weird on her mammogram so she has to go for a consult with a surgeon on Wednesday. If you all could spare some PD for her that would be great. There is no history of breast cancer in our family at all, but it is still a concern.

Deb, I think you were correct about the sore throat resolving. It isn't quite as sore as it was, but now I have that "tickle" that keeps making me cough. I have some Nyquil but it's the "on the shelf" kind, not the "hidden in the pharmacy" kind so I am not sure it will help.

DS and I watched the Charlie Brown Easter video. Now he is off doing something in his room. DH is supposed to be sleeping but he is watching "The 10 Commandments". He watches it every year. I think his mom used to watch it so he has some sort of sentimental attachment to the movie.

I've got your mom in my thoughts!!

Those 2 trips are helping me keep some of my sanity lol

I have Mon-Sat off & nothing planned now. Maybe the boys & I can go do something & I will probably pop into work & see if I can do anything there. If I had the money I would be on a plane to Disney :rotfl:

Janet - You have a trip to look forward to! You actually have TWO trips to look forward to! But I can understand how you are disappointed about not getting to visit your uncle. :guilty: Are you going to do something else close to home?

Today was a very lazy day around here. I didn't get out of my pj's until after 3! :thumbsup2 And it was really only to go grab dinner at our favorite Mexican spot, and then go buy Jonathan a new cowboy hat!

His national sales meeting is next week, and they are having a function one night to celebrate their 25th anniversary of a huge product of theirs. Thus, they're having an 80's costume party, and his team is all going as the cast of "Dallas" since that was the #1 TV show 25 years ago. He gets to play JR! :rotfl: And he needed a new hat to do so.

It's so weird to me to go dabble in the "western" stuff. Even though I'm a born-and-bred Texan, that has just never been a part of my life. Jonathan, however, used to rodeo, take care of horses, etc. It's such a different part of his life that I wasn't around for - I feel like such a fish out of water. As I told him tonight, I can help you pick out a new suit and tie - no problem. You ask me if the shape of the hat is right, and it beats the heck out of me!

Elizabeth prayers for your mother

I am watching the Ten Commandments as well & yes it was one of my mother's favorites :goodvibes

I am sorry for your uncle....and I understand the funk...I know what mine is and if it doesn't resolve soon I may just break.

I'll be praying for you.

That sounds like a good idea, all around! Have you started applying yet?

Thanks Lindsay :goodvibes

We did discuss going to spend a couple of weeks once school is out. Hopefully this will work out & he will be feeling much better. He just sounds so weak & I have never heard him like this before.

Lots of   :wizard: :wizard: Janet! I hope you can get out of your funk soon. I remember how much you've been looking forward to visiting your family. Will there be another opportunity in the foreseeable future?

Lots of   :wizard: :wizard: for you as well, Theresa. It's been good to see you around more lately, but it definitely seems like there's something still there eating at you. Stay strong, and remember, we're here for you.

Has anyone here tried the cleo or patra crocs? Shoebuy sent me a $10 off easter email and I was thinking about the cleos, but the Patras look more comfortable and shoebuy doesn't have them :confused3 What to do...What to do?

What is it with you and blue dye?!?!? :rotfl2:
I was going to say that too....:rolleyes1 :)

Elin,
Good luck to Kristin & hope you all enjoy your Easter.

Elizabeth,
Good thoughts for your mom.:wizard:

Denise,
Glad to hear John is doing better. The furniture is very nice!

Lindsay,
Glad your DH made it home & dodged the storms.

that sounds like a lovely time....I have been around rodeos most of my life...but I still wouldn't be able to tell if the hat is right:rotfl:

We went and spent some of the girls gc's at different spots today and then headed to the zoo. As we were headed out I started feeling rotten...at first I thought it was just a bad IBS episode but I do believe I am SICK.

Well we got through our dinner unscathed. :worship:

Dinner was nice & both moms were fed & happy.

We came home, dyed eggs, & watched Peter Cottontail. The kids just ran upstairs so they will get to bed before the Easter bunny comes.:goodvibes
They were so sweet to each other today it made my heart melt. Sometimes they can be so mean to each other & other times they are angels. Today was an "angel" day so I enjoyed it as much as possible.

God bless all my DDA friends & hope you enjoy your Easter day.:grouphug:

I just sent out 80 some resumes right before i left for colorado..I sent to all schools within 45 min from my hosue in all directions! I have 2 interviews set up!

That is great! When are they? Lots of luck!

I have tried on the Cleos previously, not not the Patra style. I thought the Cleos were pretty comfortable!
