Terry As silly as this may sound, it makes me feel better knowing that I am not alone with this feeling.

I know we will all make it through, but it needs to hurry!

Janet, I hear ya on that. I am so sick of this winter we have been having. All I want is some time alone away. That is why I am looking forward to the two and half days away in June. What I really want is a trip to Disney but that just will have to wait till the trip in December.

Elizabeth I will go to the candy convention, I am just a train ride away I went to a food/restaurant convention when I lived in California. You get so many freebies & get to taste all the samples!

To all of us in funks. I hope we all find our way out soon. I have no concentration it seems to complete much of anything. I was exhausted from about 3pm to 9pm. Around 9pm the lights went on and I am energized and ready to go. I need to sleep, so I am off to bed. Perhaps to dream.

Those 2 trips are helping me keep some of my sanity lol

I have Mon-Sat off & nothing planned now. Maybe the boys & I can go do something & I will probably pop into work & see if I can do anything there. If I had the money I would be on a plane to Disney

And I would be with you! I understand the winter blahs, Janet. I got outside the past few days just to be in the sun for a while. It helped a lot. Maybe if the sun ever comes out from behind the clouds in Illinois you can try the same thing!

that sounds like a lovely time....I have been around rodeos most of my life...but I still wouldn't be able to tell if the hat is right

We went and spent some of the girls gc's at different spots today and then headed to the zoo. As we were headed out I started feeling rotten...at first I thought it was just a bad IBS episode but I do believe I am SICK.

I hope you are not sick... I hate IBS attacks, but would rather have one of those than be sick.

The kids just ran upstairs so they will get to bed before the Easter bunny comes.
They were so sweet to each other today it made my heart melt. Sometimes they can be so mean to each other & other times they are angels. Today was an "angel" day so I enjoyed it as much as possible.

I hear you on needing to get away by yourself, Terry! If I could work it out I would be on a plane to WDW or on my way to the beach alone too. Maybe Bob and I will have to rent a really big house at the beach and stay in separate parts so we both think we are alone...

So I finally decided to buy the Cleos and my size was gone. It was there 1/2 hour ago, but gone now. I ended up buying a pair of the Pearl Mary Janes. I know that I like that style

If anyone wants the $10 off deal I can forward the email. It is good until the 24th.

Sorry you couldn't get the new style you wanted, Deb. But the ones you got will go with everything!

Elin - Travel safely! I'm glad you get to spend Easter with a child after all, and dinner sounds wonderful! I'm sure she will appreciate it immensely

My mom called today to tell me there is something weird on her mammogram so she has to go for a consult with a surgeon on Wednesday. If you all could spare some PD for her that would be great. There is no history of breast cancer in our family at all, but it is still a concern.

Deb, I think you were correct about the sore throat resolving. It isn't quite as sore as it was, but now I have that "tickle" that keeps making me cough. I have some Nyquil but it's the "on the shelf" kind, not the "hidden in the pharmacy" kind so I am not sure it will help.

I'm so glad you are starting to feel better, and it doesn't appear to be anything long-lasting! I will be thinking of and praying for your mother on Wednesday that all is well!

So...are you going to share the recipe?!?


Jonathan has this movie on, too. We were just discussing why this is always on Easter weekend. It really has NOTHING to do with Easter. Jonathan said Jesus was celebrating Passover, but I think that is a huge stretch!

We were also reminded of how "cheesy" it really is.

Tell Jonathan I do think that's a bit of a stretch! I will share the recipe when I get downstairs, it's on a Sticky on the laptop! It's really quite easy! I just hope that if anyone makes it that it's decent!

I am feeling really bummed. We were suppose to leave Monday to go to Ky. for the week. I just spoke with my uncle & he is to ill He had triple by pass surgery & is very weak, so I do understand. I am just worried that I will never get to see him again & this makes me very sad.

I swear I feel like I just keep falling deeper & deeper into depression, something has got to give here. One minute I am up, the next I am down, frustrating.

We dont have anything booked, but if we go ,it will be july 12-19..i have that week off now from work as i had to pick a date!

ALTHOUGH--i was talking to my parents and if i end up getting a full time job for the fall, i may take the summer off. My grandma wants to take us all on a cruise and I will not be able to take off more time from work. Also, I want to be able to fully prepare for my first classroom!

I think taking the summer off to relax (and prepare!) sounds like a marvelous idea! Congratulations on the interviews... I hope you find the perfect fit!

Today was a very lazy day around here. I didn't get out of my pj's until after 3! And it was really only to go grab dinner at our favorite Mexican spot, and then go buy Jonathan a new cowboy hat!

His national sales meeting is next week, and they are having a function one night to celebrate their 25th anniversary of a huge product of theirs. Thus, they're having an 80's costume party, and his team is all going as the cast of "Dallas" since that was the #1 TV show 25 years ago. He gets to play JR! And he needed a new hat to do so.

It's so weird to me to go dabble in the "western" stuff. Even though I'm a born-and-bred Texan, that has just never been a part of my life. Jonathan, however, used to rodeo, take care of horses, etc. It's such a different part of his life that I wasn't around for - I feel like such a fish out of water. As I told him tonight, I can help you pick out a new suit and tie - no problem. You ask me if the shape of the hat is right, and it beats the heck out of me!

I didn't even know a hat COULD be the right or wrong shape!

Has anyone here tried the cleo or patra crocs? Shoebuy sent me a $10 off easter email and I was thinking about the cleos, but the Patras look more comfortable and shoebuy doesn't have them What to do...What to do?

The "sometime in April" one is with a district that I interviewed with last year--and she remembered me!

I love Tuna noodle casserole! I never get to make it though, I am the only one who will eat it

No kidding! I wanted this the other day so it was my "request" when my mom asked what I wanted for dinner (they had me over when Kyle was on call one night). She didn't make it, because apparently I'm the only one who eats it now as well!

I think I'll try a pair of the Cleo Crocs. The only color is available in my size is touqoise. Not my favorite, but they will be less than $20.

What?! I would love the email! That's a fantastic deal!
