I'm sure the house has zones but it is so open that it would be tough. Just paying the bill to keep most of the house at say 55 would be high. You would need all that room for long pants and heavy sweaters. It is beautiful!I could live there.
Do you think the house is "zoned" so they don't have to heat the whole thing? The other thing to consider is that if I lived there I wouldn't need NEARLY as many shorts! They would be displaced by things like long underwear and parkas! DH claims that he likes cold, but I don't think he likes cold like Masachusetts cold.![]()
DH REALLY likes the Sony camera. I am glad he swapped his tent, and I am glad we didn't spend a ton of money on accessories for the Olympus because I bet he will hardly ever use it now. We never even got a spare battery because the one he bought was the wrong size and he never did find the right one. I am pretty sure going forward he will buy lenses and such with the intention of using the Sony.

Great zoo pictures!
Hope next week isn't as bad as you fear!DS had kind of a rough day. He got a "40" on that math homework. Then he got in trouble for talking in the hall so he has to stay inside for "recess" every day next week. They don't have recess - they are allowed to run around outside after they finish eating lunch. But he eats so slow I am worried that the teacher will accuse him of going out to play. I think that next week will not be good.
He says he will just sit in the classroom to eat, but I don't know if that will be an option. Maybe if he gets some extra help with math while he sits there it will turn out to be a good thing.
Tomorrow he is on a field trip to UNT all day so the teacher told them not to bring backpacks or lunches or anything. They are having lunch at the college. I hope he has fun.

That is great!I found a frame at Kohl's that had thick layers of matte. I removed the matte and used a piece of fleece to put the pins through. There was enough room for the entire pin to be between the glass and frame back and the fleece gave it a finished look.
You shouldn't have a problem on the highways as long as there aren't white out conditions. Depending on who you listen to they are now say 1"-3" or 2"-4" or 3"-5". It is starting here around 8pm and through the night. Clearing sometime tomorrow. The girls will pick me up here about 9:00. Bob and I are taking them out for breakfast and then we are off.
I checked the weather forecast this morning first thing and I am concerned. Hartford, CT is under a heavy snow warning. 8 inches or so!This is where we are planning to stop tonight before continuing into Boston tomorrow morning.![]()
For those of you who live in the New England area... do the road crews stay on top of storms like this on Interstate highways? They don't/can't around here, so you see my concern.
Stay safe!!!
