Unfortunately it won't truly be overwith until the kids are adults, otherwise you will have to deal with him. I'm sure that he is jealous of your happiness without him. Afterall, he left and you we able to get over him and find someone better That's got to sting him.

Ok, maybe I should have said "legalized", when there is a court order saying X, Y, and Z, no ifs, ands or buts.

just letting family know i will be going to austin this weekend. i am happy about it cuz i can love on my aunts lap dog and maybe see my brothers dog maynard who will jump in my lap and give me kisses even though he is bigger than she was.

So I broke down and bought Bob's birthday present today.

He currently has satellite installed in his gas guzzler I mean truck, and last year he drove his truck in good weather just to listen to baseball games at work. This way he can use his car (the gas saver) and still get the games. And I love the fact it came with the docking station too - I looked at another set and it would have cost me twice as much to buy the receiver and docking station seperately. Then we can take it camping and he doesn't have an excuse.

That's a great present, Chanon. When is his bday?

Happy Friday, DDA!

Thanks for all the kind words and PD for my dog. It's been a tough week with some ups and downs, but she is doing much better and seems to be on the road to recovery. She's pretty much been in the constant care of either the animal hospital or her new vet all week, but I was able to work from home today so she could have a quiet day of recuperation. Needless to say, she's slept most of the day, but is eating well, taking her meds, and seems to be breathing a bit better. Hopefully this lung infection will leave soon.

And I'm beginning to plot how to get remuneration from the vet that caused this mess. The bills have been a bit , and I certainly think they should be held responsible. Hopefully, I won't have to resort to using some of my coworkers' legal skills.

I did, however, get an unexpected promotion at work this week, and that certainly couldn't have come at a better time with all this!

I've gotten caught up, and there's so much going on with everyone, that I'm just going to send out a big dose of for everyone. I'll try to remain caught-up now that RL has slowed down. Thank goodness the weekend is almost here!

I'm glad doggie is doing much better. Congrats on the promotion!!!

I have discovered some pros/cons to working from home.

Con:
I keep getting drawn to the pantry for "just one more" Girl Scout cookie. (I didn't remember ordering 6 boxes! )

Pro:
Listening to Disney on the Travel Channel in the background. Animal Kingdom is on right now, DCL starts next, and then I think it's the WDW: Behind the Scenes. I love these shows!

Also heard on a podcast that there will be a new hour-long Disney/Samantha Brown show that will debut in early April. It's to be of her "favorites" and cover both WDW and Disneyland.

We have 1 left in Goofy..mans small. I had several people ask me for that one today.

My store had a little stack left, but no XL. I thought about getting one of the Jack shirts for him but he prefers lighter colors and they were all dark.

Hi, Lindsay! I am glad your pup is doing better! And congrats on the promotion! We didn't buy any GS cookies this year. But the vanilla Oreos have me in their spell.

My letters are done, and I really think they look cute!

I had wished (and might still) that, like the example I showed, I could get more varied patterns of similar colors (ie hers were all pinks, and so the patterns were each more unique). Instead, since we couldn't determine a single color to pick since the nursery is so colorful, each letter is a different color with a subtle pattern. I think I like it, I hope it ends up looking good in the room!

Sticking with "fostering individuality" , each girl has the colors in the same order, but different patterns. At a glance the designs look mostly the same, but in person (or at least up close) they are different.

I'll be right back as soon as I can get pictures up!
