DDA Chapter 4

i think it was mentioned sometime today with the ideas of June 28-29 or July 26-27?

It seems alot of people responded that the June 28-29 would work for them

It would be great to see you guys again Tom! and to meet your wife!

Thanks, Robyn.

I'm heading to bed. Good night everyone.

Night! I am headed that way too. It's been a long day. We went to my niece's playoff basketball game, her team lost:sad2: mostly because the ref was not very fair in his calls. After that was over my mom and the 3 girls and I did some shopping at Walmart. Surprisingly it wasn't a madhouse. Then Emma and Molly convinced grandmom to let them spend the night. After they left Eric and I unloaded our old server and arranged everything into the china cabinet and buffet. My dining room looks so different.
He fixed dinner and then we've just vegged. I worked on the trip report and we watched the Knight Rider movie on NBC.

I need to be up tomorrow morning to tidy up here. Eric's parents are coming for dinner.

Some pictures from Leighanna's party.

Robyn, great update on your TR!

You can NEVER bore me with too many pictures!

Just you wait! ;) :goodvibes

What days in June are we talking about for the Philly meet?

Hopefully me, Leighanna, and my wife will be able to come!

How much fun would that be?!?

Actually Tom, we are planning on visiting our relatives in Michigan and would love to spend a day out your way. We are looking right now at the week of July 13th. I haven't heard back from my cousin yet but hopefully we can work something out!

Love Leighanna's birthday pics!! :goodvibes I will be mailing out a package for her on Monday, so be on the lookout.

I think you caught what I had. It took me a full week to be fever free. The nyquil worked wonders. Feel better soon.
Molly had a fever of 102 when she woke up yesterday but after 2 doses of motrin it hasn't come back.

I would be in for Philly I think the last weekend of June works for me. Well it does right now. I would loved to do Friday night through Sunday but I know this may not work for others. I would hope that I could work in the Lafayette Hill or Valley Forge office, then I would be a hop, skip and jump away.

I registered for the Disney Meet in Harrisburg, but have not paid. How long do I have before I must pay? Do any of you know?

Tom- Great pictures of her party, it looks like fun was had by all.

Tammi and Karen- :wizard: :wizard: :grouphug:  to help lead and guide you through the difficult decisions about you dogs

Denise- Sorry that you keep getting the bucket of monkey dung and not ice cream. :wizard: :grouphug: :wizard: to you and your family.

Jen- Feel better soon.

Sending good thoughts to everyone else.:wizard: :grouphug:

:rotfl: :rotfl: Don't you just love his eyes? They are shut in about 90% of the pictures. I don't know what his problem was:confused3

Great pictures and report. My Mom always has her eyes closed when it is a flash picture. The poor person taking her passport photo, took like 20 pics before her eyes were open. Then she had a goofy face. :upsidedow So her passport will have a goofy face.

I'm making sure my shopping list is all set. This is what I have on my planning spreadsheet.

Sleeping Beauty Hot Chocoalte canister - Robyn
Passholder Pin - Elizabeth
Mickey Head Crepe maker (cookie cutter with hinged handle) - Deb
Lithographs - Deb
Lithographs - Tammi?
Lithographs - Janet?
Lithographs - for me (thanks to Elizabeth)

Is there anything that I have forgotten or anything someone else needs? I'm thinking there was another passholder pin I was supposed to get for someone.

That's all for me, thanks!! :goodvibes Enjoy your lithographs!

Elizabeth -- I'm a member. Let me know what you need.

Wonderful!! I just need 2 tickets, decent seats, probably one of the weekend matinee shows would work best. I'll look at the DSM site again and get back with you. Thank you so much!!! :flower3: DS listens to the soundtrack ALL the time - he would LOVE to see the show!

His mom was a Jack Russell and his dad was a Yorkie. He is the last one left from his litter.

Awww. I am sorry. I think it is harder to tell when a small dog is ailing. In the larger breeds you can see how hard it is for them to stand up and walk. A former employer had a fabulous dog that had arthritis. I would load him in the car and take him for cortisone shots, and he also took 2 different pills for it. After I quit the mom had him put down.:sad1:

Robyn-sounds like a good day--i love hte pictures!

Robyn, loving your TR!! Did you not notice that Pocahontas was holding a SNAKE? I wouldn't have gone to sit near her, either! And you can post all the photos you want EXCEPT giant plates of food from Donald's!:rotfl2:

Tom-She looks adorable, as always!

Looks like a great party, Tom! :thumbsup2 Leighanna's outfit is precious!

I just came home from babysitting. Everyone was very well behaved tonight.:)
I got a bill from the STUPID insurance company today. They have been double billing us for DH's life insurance policies - the one should have been cancelled in December. But NO! It is still on the bill! The agent told me to subtract the premiums from the payment I submitted last month because the error had been fixed, so I did. Now the bill says I failed to pay in full AND I owe this HUGE amount for March.:headache: I really get tired of the grown-up game sometimes. I will call the agent on Monday (I love how there is NO NUMBER to reach the billing dept) and I will tell her I am NOT HAPPY.

Tammi - DS liked Spiderwick. He didn't really tell me much about the movie - I need to get more details. My friend who took him said she thought it looked more PG-13 than PG. She has been a nanny longer than I have and she has known DS his entire life. She also has a nephew DS's age and several who are younger so she has a pretty good handle on "kid" things.

Deb - I hope your knee is OK in the morning! :wizard:

Becky - You are a glutton for punishment! Tell Gold Toe they need to hire some more people and then WALK AWAY! They will never stop calling you if you keep bailing them out.
Cool photos! It was way too cloudy to see the eclipse here, but I did see the moon tonight!:)

One more gripe then I am going to bed. ;)
Frito Lay STRONGLY encourages us to use a mail order company for prescriptions. DH takes ulcer meds that are about $75 per month, but a 90 day supply through the mail is $141 so the savings are huge. I called to refill his meds on Tuesday. They debited our bank acct. and said the meds would arrive BY Feb. 23. Not around 2/23, but by 2/23, as in no later than 2/23. DH sent DS down to get the mail today (I HATE when he does that). DS came back with just the mail - no box of meds. DS swears there was no key to the parcel locker in the mailbox, which means the meds aren't here. I have an order confirmation number but beyond that I have NO CLUE how to try to track those meds. So I can add that to my "to-do" list for Monday. Grrr.

Some pictures from Leighanna's party.

Tom, it looks like everyone had a wonderful time!

and i think im headed to bed..i have no idea why i cant shake this bug, whatever i have..

I hope you can kick this soon! :wizard:

Aack! My smilies moved!

Tammi,

Kyle and I would have loved to go to Philly, and stay in our favorite spot in Delaware. We definitely grew attached to that area! Alas, I think we'll have our hands a bit too full in June/July ;)

Good morning. :)

Tom - the birthday girl looks simply gorgeous.

Elin - good luck with all you have to do today. Safe travels.

Elizabeth - Just from the previews I would say Spiderwick looks more PG13 than PG. Alyssa has no desire to see it. It does look a bit scary to me.

Nicholas and his friend were very well-behaved. They went to bed around 10:30 and I didn't hear a peep out of them. They just came downstairs about 10 minutes ago. Now everone wants breakfast. We will all go to church together and then he will go home from there.

Good Morning.

My knee seems fine this morning, I guess time will tell since I will be on my feet all day at the mountain. I need to get the older boys up and moving and get lunch made. It is quite a production to get the 5 of us out of the house in full Snow Boarding attire and equipment...then add lunch to it and it is near impossible :crazy2: Have a great day.
