DDA Chapter 4

 :grouphug:
Fly by post, but I wanted to wish Kristine a Happy 40th birthday!!!! I hope you had a great day!

And, Vicki, the girl I teach choir with is a Cardiac RN and runs the Table tests and stress tests for our large Cardiac hospital. She said if you have any questions, she'd be happy to answer them. She explained the whole process to me tonight and told me the name of the common problem that causes this issue in young, healthy adults. It was really long, and now I don't remember it! Just let me know.

Thanks Denise. The first appointment is Monday and if I have questions afterwards, I'll let you know.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of my DDA friends. You have enriched my lives in so many ways. From helping me with decisions, to helping me get answers (like this), to just being there to listen. Thank you all!

You all know that Chris is as big a Disney nut as me and we indulge each other. Well he thinks that I've lost my mind tonight. I received my t-shirt order today so I started putting together outfits for our June trip. I figure that the kids won't need shorts until late May early June anyway. They have enough non Disney shorts to cover those few weeks. I needed to know what I was up against in the shopping and designing department. I need to decide which AK design I want to use and get that printed and ironed on. I also need to print out the Mickey Swirl design and iron that on. Then I need to create some sort of Patriotic Design for the 11 of us for the Campground Parade and our Fireworks cruise. I'm anxiously awaiting the new HS parade as I'm sure there will be new and different characters and I will need to make additional autograph pages. With less than 20 weeks to go, I can't wait until the last minute...can I :rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: Now, if Chris thinks you have lost it, then you must be over the edge.

NOT! Sounds perfectly rational to me.

Happy Birthday Kristine!!!

party: :cake:

Life only gets better after 40!

Channon-we tried the pork roast with cranberry sauce today. Good but a little dry....could have been the roast. Even Cassidy who doesn't eat a lot of meat and doesn't like cranberries ate quite a bit:thumbsup2

Tia-great news on the trip!!

Deb-you seem perfectly normal to me

Debbie-I am glad your baby steps are helping you....keep up the great work!!

I'm off to bed. Talk to you all later. Enjoy your Thursday! Hope the weather improves for those with bad weather and it doesn't get bad for those with good.

Things just continue to get worse here! Alan was supposed to be home at 6:30, but he's still not home (9:17). He has called me, though, so I know he's ok. The freeway is still closed, and we have white out conditions with strong winds blowing.

The worst is that there are 10 school buses full of children that never made it home from school. The roads were too icy, and were being closed down. Kids stayed on the buses from 3:30 to 7:30. As of now, all the buses have made it back to their schools, and the kids are now inside the schools. Kitchens have been opened, kids have been fed (a lot of staff couldn't make it home, either), and now they are bedding down in libraries and classrooms until parents can be contacted. Parents are allowed to pick up their kids as they can. Can you imagine how scary for those kids? These are all elementary age kids!!! I'm so grateful that my kids made it home from school!

Alan is hoping to make it home by 10:30, but I don't know if he will or not!

hey Tia 1900 parkfare is actually more expensive then Akershus

Is it even now. Thanks! I hadn't checked. Well, maybe we'll stick with Akershus unless/til they change to 2 credits if on dining plan.

:wizard:  That is scary for all involved. I would be so scared if my kids weren't home on time. I'd have been out looking for the buses within minutes. I hope that Alan makes it home safely very soon.

Thanks for the good thoughts, everyone! Alan is safe, and should be home in half an hour or so. I'm going to try to get some sleep! Good night!

Thank you Vicki! I will get them in the mail along with the swim trunks :thumbsup2

I can get one more set. We'll have 4 AP's. I'm getting a set for myself, Tammi & Deb. You'll be the 4th. That is all I can handle.

Sounds like you have a lot to do! I do not think you are crazy for trying to get it out of the way now. Everyone will appreciate your hard work once you are all there :goodvibes
