Princess & I just came back from dinner. WHY do people insist on touching her? She is afraid of strangers, even though she will smile at them. Yesterday at IHOP the Shriners were there accepting donations. They were wearing those lampshade hats. Princess was TERRIFIED of them, but the kindly grandpa wanted to pat her on the back anyway. She was trying to climb over my shoulder to get away.
Tonight there were 2 ladies sitting diagonal from us. They were waving at her and she was smiling. When they finished eating they came over to us and wanted to pat Princess on the back (which is better than people wanting to touch her face, I suppose). She was petrified.
It would be so much better if people would just admire her from a distance!

Jennifer for our 11 night stay in Aug. I only booked 4 ADR's, plus we have the group one at Cape May. I plan on ordering some items from Garden Grocer & we will eat more CS this trip.

It seems that I have the flu. The funny thing is my only symptom is the chills and fever. I don't feel sick. But I am headed to bed in a bit to see if I can sleep it off. I seriously doubt that my DH will be all that happy but I don't care, he'll just have to deal with it! I am short on patience when it comes to dealing with him the past few days.

Well, winter has returned! We have had 4 days of sunny, warm weather and it lulled us into a false sense of Spring! We are now in the middle of a blizzard. Alan just called to tell me that he was on his way home, but the freeway has been closed down due to an accident and it's been closed so long, people are now running out of gas! Alan was hoping to get around it and get home, but then got diverted to another accident about 30 miles south of us. Don't know when he'll get home now.

I HATE WINTER!!!!!

Im so frustrated with my computer--I had a problem a couple weeks ago so they told me they were mailing me a new cord and that would fix it..i just sent the old cord back yesterday and today the same probably is happening..i just got this computer so i shouldnt be ahving all these problems!

i have a feeling they are going to tellm e ot send it to them and they will fix it--i hate being without my computer!

Now im waiting for the online tech support..number 46 in line still..so here i am!

I haven't said much about it because I can't look at the big picture, it is just too much. So I took Elin's advice and set small goals for myself, and am proud to say that I have acheived goal one. Now on to the next one. . . .

I haven't had a regular soft drink in three weeks, which for me is unheard of, I had to keep pulling up the jeans that I wore today, by the next mini goal I will have to put them away.

I have been craving chocolate, and ice cream, so today at the store I found Breyer's Carb Smart, no sugar added ice cream. I still have to have a small portion, but it was like heaven in a spoon, YUMMO!

I keep telling DH that I promise to try, and I can only take one day at a time.

Good work, Debbie! I am glad the setting one small goal at a time aspect of my previous diet is working for you.

(I need to get that back in my head now too!)

I am so guilty of this But only with family or close friends! It's just something about knowing there is a little life in growing in that tummy.

I came home when I was done teaching and skipped rehearsal and dinner out with friends. I have been feeling better today and decided resting tonight would be more beneficial than singing for 2 hours and socializing for another 2...

Anne Marie - I hope your October trip works out! After August we will be staying home for quite awhile. We usually do about 16 nights over 3 trips, so our August trip is going to be it for this year.

It's all talk right now..I have to see how things pan out for the year.
