We'll stop for food, gas and potty breaks. If we both get tired we'll pull off for a couple hours. We did give ourselves an extra day this time

Apparently, and according to Ridley Pearson, Kingdom Keepers is going to be a 7 book series!

Hooray!!! I'm hoping they move the plot out to Disneyland!

Thanks! I would have remember Dumbo-there was no Dumbo. I think there have been Peter Pan but since I have no pictures I can't be 100% sure on that.


Back from the doctor. My foot looks awesome!!! Virtually no swelling-it was much more swollen in May. And the bunion is gone. I can not believe how good it looks. Doctor was very happy to see I've been following his instructions. I have an appointment for him to take out the stitches next Friday. He seemed concerned that I wanted to go back to work on 8/16 but for some reason thought I worked on my feet so once he heard that I was mostly sedentary he was OK. He said I should still stay off it a lot but need to move around a bit for my muscles. It is a little now after being out & about but still better than it was in May.

I know that Peter Pan was in the EP last time we saw it in California Adventure. I haven't seen Dumbo in years, though.

I plan to start hunting for a full time job/career once we get home. This has been the plan for quite a while, but I still don't know what I want to do. Any suggestions? I still have my job at the restaurant and can sub at school so I don't want to just take any job. I want something that I'll enjoy, pays well and that I can stick with for years to come.

I have not. I was so intent on getting here to tell you all about it I forgot to go see when it was being released! I have a little while before I need to order it, I think.

I bet your foot will swell a little when you go back to work. Hopefully another week of R&R will have it in even better shape.

I wish I were going to be in your neck of the woods a little longer this coming week. It would have been easier to get together with you being off work! Bob and I will drive up on Thursday and have dinner with Kathrin that evening. I have a training seminar from 9-5 on Friday and Bob is going to work out of the hotel room. We will have dinner with Kathrin that night when she gets off work. Saturday my brother and SIL are having us over for a pool party and cookout and then we will be back on the road bright and early Sunday morning. I doubt that we will even be on your side of Boston!

I think I have finally found exactly the purse that I'm looking for. Now to decide the color. I like to have just a small purse with lots of pockets. I have a purse a little bit smaller than this but it isn't quite large enough. It has two zippers on one side, an open pocket on the back, inside it has a pocket just right for holding your checkbook toward the top of the purse, credit card slots (for about 6) and then the regular inside. I think I'm in love with the style.

That's cute. I brought one smaller then that for part of this trip. I picked up a cute purple on in Honduras too.

Somewhere there is a color guide that shows which colors look best on you. I have hazel eyes so purples on or near my face really make my eyes pop. It took me 40 years to discover that it is true. I use purple eyeliner and eye shadow and incorporate purple into either my outfit or accessories.

Good morning, DDA!

Tammi and her kids are in PA this morning. Her dad was medivac-ed to the hospital with what they thought was a stroke. Initial tests indicate it wasn't a stroke but may have been an aneurysm. He seemed to be doing fairly well last night, I think.

Some of you already know this because she posted very quickly on facebook, but I thought the others would like to know.

If she posts anything else I will let you all know.
