There is a standard view garden wing room. Garden view is $50 more per night rack rate-$30 more with 40% off.

I never had a problem with the door in the family suite. I knew my kids wouldn't go out on their own plus the latch is relativey high and the door pretty heavy for them to open on their own. Did you know the cabins have an exterior door in the bedroom?

its weird I can get the standard room to come up when i do the system without the pin. As soon as I put the pin in no standard room. Good to hear about the family suites. Olivia would not do it, If either one did it would be Virginia, Did not know that about the cabins.

Good morning. :)

Sounds like a lot of trips are being planned. YAY!

Bernadette - I hope things improve at work. I've been there once or twice over the past 22 years, so I can feel your pain. Low moral sucks!

Debbie - how did all of your tests go?

Deb - Heard anything yet regarding the MRI?

Tia - sorry about the car.

For those not on FB.

Read this article in yesterday's NY Times..very interesting.

Well, we were one of those millions of people. And Alyssa was one of those goofballs that HAD to buy a $30 "stick", as I called it. I told her she could go into our back yard and pick one off of a tree for free. But NO! It was her money though, so whatever. I can understand how the new HP world is a draw, but I don't think it will have staying power. The "area" is so small, and only has 3 rides. The rest are the shops and restaurants from the movies. But if people want to go there instead of WDW, I'm happy. That just means less crowds for me to contend with when I'm in my Happy Place!

I agree, Tammi. None of us were impressed, and it seemed like everything there was so expensive. It was a whole lot of hype and not much substance. (Not to mention how expensive it was for us to add a day at IOA onto a Disney trip.) We will just stick with Disney.

:lmao: I think I would say the same thing!!! I agree, I hope more people go to IOA to see HP for the same reasons.

I thought about going for maybe 30 seconds.....:rolleyes1

However the cost & losing a day at Disney is not worth it for us.

Count us in as buying wands. We bought 2.

No word on the MRI yet. I've put in another call, but so far no word

Very interesting. :teeth: It's good that Disney is getting some competition finally. I totally see HP expanding though - if they aren't already thinking about it.

We'll be going there this year, but we are going more for Halloween Horror Nights and not Harry Potter...though since we are staying onsite there now, we will probably hit that part of the park IF we can get up early enough for the early entrance that's offered to resort guests. If not, then it's not that big of a deal to us...we'll be back because we still have our 7 day $99 tickets but we won't be using those for years yet.
I guess I'm one of the few that enjoys UO. :cool2: But it's not Disney. :rotfl:

I haven't got all the results yet, but they haven't found much either, mainly just some blood in my urine. I guess I'm just crazy . . . . . .

Do NOT let anyone start to convince you that you are, Debbie!!!

In 1976-1977 I had lots of "unspecific" health issues that could not be diagnosed. I had blood in my urine, horrible headaches and body aches as well as general malaise. I was to the point after a few months of going to many different doctors that I was indeed crazy and even tried the valium prescription that the neurologist and psychiatrist agreed would get me back on the road to healing. Mind you, I was also weighing in at 108 by then too.

I had a urologist who just happened to be in his office one day when I was having major pains and blood in my urine and he took me in for an exam and he checked everything. Guess what? I had a systemic strep infection that had basically been moving all around my body for months.

After about 3 months of various antibiotics I finally started to feel better. The only side effect I had from this infection was that my ovaries were infected (that is what he noticed first) and I pass strep along to my babies.

If you don't feel good, there is something wrong. Keep pestering those doctors, my friend. And have them check for strep. Again and again and again.

We got Nick's MRI results today. They found a developmental venous anomaly in the left front of his brain. It looks like the blood vessels in an irritated eye or a small spider web. Those smaller vessels feed into a larger vein. There are similar sized veins in the brain, but they are not located there. It is probably causing his dizziness/blackouts, but is not something that they will treat. They don't expect that it will cause him more problems unless he has a blunt head trauma or is in a car accident at that point he could get a brain bleed. The Neurologist wants to talk to the Neurosurgeon who has more experience with these and he'll call me back tomorrow.

Good morning, DDA!

(I think that is a more appropriate smiley for what most of us are experiencing or anticipating!)

Debbie,
I agree with Elin on all counts. If you don't feel like YOU then I would continue to see different doctors. I had a similiar situation years ago & I would not let it go until it was resolved. Good luck.:wizard::wizard::wizard:

Deb,
Good luck with the neurosurgeon. Hope Nick is doing well.

Elin,
Good morning! Perfect smiley..we have maybe an inch of snow on the ground & they cancelled school last night. I like them staying home since the roads are icing up but then they have to make up that day during Easter break.

So I got a PIN code in my email yesterday. Doesn't work for summer due to the kids school schedule. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I agree with Elin whole-heartedly! I've been asking doctors about my stomach pains since I was 19 and had been having them since at least 15. Multiple tests had been run and no one could ever find a reason. Then 18 months ago I insisted on getting in WHILE I was actually having pains and they finally found the diverticulousis. Even then, that was the one diagnosis that she was sure it wasn't, but was going to check anyway since they were doing the test for something else.

I hope they can give you answers soon. Just trust in your body to tell you when something's wrong. :grouphug:
