Good evening everyone!

Anyone have any suggestions on smaller point and shoot cameras? Having one that fit in my pocket or diaper bag was really nice when Terra was a baby. I want to see about getting one before this baby comes as well. I still like my bigger camera, but it would be nice to have a more portable one for all of those baby-picture-taking opportunities.

I am a Kodak girl all the way (other than the big one....Kodak was way too bulky for me)

I love my new Kodak too!

I got this for my kids for their graduations (D & K) from Walmart.

They have different colors. They take really good movies & the screen in the back is big. There are also multiple settings (fireworks, twilight, fast moving etc) & so far their pictures look great. I might get one for me!

Thanks for the camera suggestions so far! I appreciate it.

Tonight we went to dinner at a friend of Phil's. We never do anything like that so it was really nice. It's amazing the difference "real" conversation can make in ones life. Of course, dinner wasn't until 8 so it was 10:40 before we left. Now I'm finishing up synching the MP3 player for Dad to take on his trip to Ukraine tomorrow. He leaves the house at 6:30 in the morning so this is my only chance to finish it up. (Totally should have done it earlier! But at least my procrastination reminded me that he could take Rachel's old one and it would better suit his needs.)

Also, he had another appt with the doctor yesterday to ask some final questions, etc. He is going with the prostate removal (or is it just the cancer removal, I don't really know) surgery. They have scheduled him in for Aug 18. He gets back from Ukraine on July 5 so that will give him a little over a month to work before he's off for a few more weeks and then a good 6 weeks to heal before their fall trip with friends (money permitting). Hopefully, all will go well and he'll be well on the way to recovery by fall.

Next month will just be too confusing, with our cruise and all. Plus I'll have more time to get a bag of stuff together that I will just be leaving down there.

I have less than a week to make some decisions about meals for our December trip. Tammi and I want to try to get together on our first night/their last night and I know we will need to have a few more.

AKL IPO has yet to contact me so I will be working this up today and sending them an email or calling this afternoon. CM Don told me that they often do not get a heads-up from CRO that people are booked in CL and they don't know to contact them. So, I will take the initiative and get in touch with them first.

I also think I am going to drop the DDP from our reservations and look into less food for the December trip. The more I look at it the more I think that TIW will do just fine for 3 out of 5 days we are there and we will plan accordingly for the other two.

Good morning, DDA! It is sooooo cold here today. I think I'm turning into an ice cube. I guess that's supposed to change for tomorrow, though.

Not much new happening here. Still painting. I need to find a curved curtain rod. I took the old one down and got rid of it, because it was old and broken. Now I don't know where to find one to replace it, though.

Miles went out the door in shorts today, because the weather forecast said mostly sunny and 70. It hasn't broken 60 yet, so I hope he's not freezing. Guess I'm out of the running for Mother of the Year once again.

Well, I just called and took a night off the end of our trip. The older two need to get back a day earlier for a memorial run for their cross country coach. I think I'm going to add a Universal hotel night to the front end, but I chickened out so far.

extra cell phone chargers-got a cheap one at Walmart and luckily both DH & I can use the same one

charger(s) for camera batteries

medicine-cold medicine, ibuprofen....

first aid

extra eye glasses-I had an old pair that would work

hair brush

toiletries

scissors

glow sticks

pool toys-goggles

flip flops

must have more than that because I can hardly close the thing

Just got the call that another of my mom's brothers has cancer (blood). So out of 9 kids only 2 had not been diagnosed.
