Vicki - Here is a follow-up on La Hacienda restaurant hours and menus (from AllEars):

The new restaurant in Epcot's Mexico pavilion, the 250-seat La Hacienda, will open daily for dinner ONLY at 4 p.m. (It was originally announced that the restaurant would serve both fast food at lunch and table service for dinner.) For starters, the menu will feature queso fundido (warm cheese with poblano pepper and chorizo); a taco trio with rib eye, roasted chicken and pork; and traditional black bean soup. Entrees will include a mixed grill for two with flank steak, chicken, chorizo and vegetables (a seafood version features grouper, shrimp and scallops); roasted shrimp in pepper garlic broth; flank steak with spring onions, refried beans and cactus leaves; and grilled red snapper with roasted corn and cactus leaves. Desserts will include chocolate churros, sweet tamales and fruit empanadas. The other Mexico restaurant on the promenade, La Cantina, will be open daily at 11 a.m. and will have 150 outdoor seats. The new La Cantina menu will offer chicken and beef tacos on fresh handmade corn tortillas, nachos, a cheese empanada, guacamole and chips and churros.

We're heading out the door. I really hope the predicted rain ends up being very scattered showers. I am not looking forward to camping in the rain.

:goodvibesFor whatever reason, I love mowing the lawn. :confused3:confused3:confused3

Takes about an hour. I mow the front, sit drink water huff anf puff, mow the back, sit, drink water huff and puff, mow the side and around the deck. Wipe the mower down and hop in the shower. Sweet! :cool1::cool1:

Did anyone else order their iPhone today? att.com crashed all day, so I downloaded the Apple store app (yes, there's an app for that!) and reserved my phone since even they couldn't connect to att. :goodvibes:goodvibes

I'm going to have lunch with Terry tomorrow so we can figure out what times we want to eat in Palo and what excursions we want to book. Then it will be cruise thoughts 24/7 for 90 more days! :woohoo::woohoo:

I sure wish I could manage the meet in July. That sounds like such great fun!

Anyhow, we will be in the world from October 2nd until the 4th. Doing EPCOT all day on Saturday and the party on Sunday. I'm actually not going to get to the MK until about 5:30. I'm watching the first quarter of the Eagles/Redskins game at the ESPN club. :cheer2::cheer2: Hopefully by then the app will work for the iphone and I can finish watching in the park. :dance3:

I actually enjoy mowing the lawn too, Stephanie. But not when it is 99+ degrees outside. :rotfl: But, I got my back yard done yesterday before the rains began and will do the front tomorrow after they leave!

Have fun with Terry! I love lunches with friends and planning Disney stuff during them makes it even more sweet. :goodvibes

I plan to see you and Terry at some point on October 2 or 3. As we get closer we will have to do some planning of our own. We have Tea at the GF at 2:00 on the 2nd and then the After Hours Finish Line Party in Epcot from 10:00 PM - 3:00 AM that night/morning. How am i ever going to stay up that long?!?!?  Since the 2nd is such a long day we don't have anything planned on the 3rd (other than possibly some of the 'Skins game) until dinner at 6:30 at Il Mulino. That ought to give us some time in there to see one another!

Rain, rain... stay away! Have fun, Deb!

AllEars' newsletter had information that Owner's Locker will stop all internet promotional discounts as of June 20, 2010. I am glad I read that since we had been debating getting one. So, this morning I signed up for my purple box. I don't know why it took us so long to do it but I cannot wait to start filling it up in October.

I need to do this, Elin. What is the cost?

I'm in Lansing safe & sound. Off to bed. I have lots of stuff to catch up on now that I'm down here. I'll be in Lansing this week-end. My mom, sister & her kids are going to be here Saturday and Sunday. My nephew is going to basketball camp at MSU. I'm looking forward to seeing them all. It's been a while.

Glad you're back safely. Good luck on getting caught up. Enjoy your time with your family!

Can't say I'm with you on the mowing thing! Of course, our muffler needs to be replaced so our mower is incredibly loud and leaves my ears ringing. Maybe if that wasn't the case and it wasn't too hot I could agree a little bit. ;)

Enjoy your lunch and planning!!! Sounds like lots of fun all around.

There is a one-time membership fee of $75 (reduced to $25 if you use the AllEars drop down). There are two levels of membership: one time per year = $99 (with additional deliveries @ $25); unlimited deliveries per year = $179. I chose the second one.

ETA: And the membership fee is not charged until 30 days before your first delivery and the annual fee is not charged until after the completion of your first use. Very fair!

Good evening everyone!

Anyone have any suggestions on smaller point and shoot cameras? Having one that fit in my pocket or diaper bag was really nice when Terra was a baby. I want to see about getting one before this baby comes as well. I still like my bigger camera, but it would be nice to have a more portable one for all of those baby-picture-taking opportunities.

I am a Kodak girl all the way (other than the big one....Kodak was way too bulky for me)

Good evening all!!

My mom has been keeping me busy with VBS stuff so I haven't had the chance to get online often.

I have a job interview on Friday evening...doing what I did at LUMC for a local UMC. Pros...it's a job...Con...it's only part time.

Hopefully after next week I will be able to come on a bit more.

I think of all of you daily!!

I've just been looking at small point & shoots....just looking:rolleyes1

I'm going to leave my Nikon dSLR at home in July.

If I were to buy one I think I would go with the Panasonic SZ7. 14MP 12X zoom fits in your pocket.

I came very close to buying the Sony HX5V but some very mixed reviews have scared me away. Some are VERY good-and some sample images on Amazon are very good but then there are so many I've read where folks have said they are returning it. That new panaromic sweep feature looks so cool but how often would you really use that?

I still don't know that I can justify the purchase since I do have a small Sony that fits in my pocket but it is only 3x zoom.
