Good evening DDA!
I was trying to catch up last night, but the boards went down before I got very far. Now I don't remember where I was.
Jennifer - I'm glad the bleeding is slowing if not gone yet. Take it easy! I know just how you feel about not getting out. I can't hardly be outside in our heat and humidity so Terra's kind of stuck with the house and our yard.
Tammi - Congrats to Alyssa!
Jen - Yeah for your kiddos! Enjoy the last few days.
Deb - Have a good trip! I'm sure the dance will be wonderful.
Elin - Happy planning. I think I'll have to go over and see how the corresponding days for our trip next year look. Maybe it will give me a bit of a start anyway.
We had a nice, but quick trip. The weather didn't treat me quite as badly as I had expected so that was nice. Most days cooled 5-10 degrees from their original prediction and OK is rarely humid. I was laughing at the "muggy" on the forecast since their version of "muggy" is nothing. It was a lot like when Boston weather used to tell me we were going to have "thunderstorms".
Branson was nice, but tiring! A day and a half there at 23 weeks wore me out more than 5 days at WDW did at 29 weeks with Terra. Of course, Silver Dollar City is majorly hilly (think lots of the hills like that leading to Fantasmic), plus I am 7 years older, wasn't using an
ECV and it was summer not Dec. In the end it made sense, but not near as much when I was dragging myself back to the car.
Oklahoma was good, but too quick. We saw about 1/3 of the family, but did get to see the newest baby so that was good! We also go to watch my cousin's little boy play t-ball, swim with part of the family and have dinner with my grandma. Dad enjoyed his high school reunion so it was worth it in the end. Now if only we wouldn't have had to make bathroom stops every hour and a half on the way home...
This week we're just getting ready for Chris' police academy graduation. He got word today that he passed the post exam. Graduation is Thursday night and he starts actual work on Saturday night. Unfortunately he starts on the overnight shift, but only for about 2 weeks and then switches to the evening shift. His training officer said he'll be working him a lot of overtime, but Kristi just says "Good! We need it!"
Okay, now that I'm caught up with everything and bedtime is 25 minutes away, I guess I'd better go eat my dinner. Night all!
