Good morning, DDA! I didn't have time to catch up this morning, but I should have a little time later.
Miles is going to school in the same jacket that he wore yesterday with this note.
Miles has my permission to wear his fleece-lined, water-resistant jacket outside for recess.
Thank you for your concern as to the suitability of my sons outerwear. This jacket is definitely appropriate for playing outside and walking to/from school at temperatures above 20°F. Miles does own a heavy winter coat that he will wear in colder temperatures.
If you need to contact me in this matter, please call my cell phone at . Please be advised that I may not be able to answer immediately while I am teaching. I will, however, return the call as soon as possible if you leave a message.
Thank you again for your concern.
Let's hope that they don't upset him. He can be a little sensitive. I wish that I weren't working today, because I'd go up to school with him instead of sending the note. Can you hear the sarcasm in the "Thank you" or not?
