DDA Chapter 19

Thanks Elin and everyone else that posted on Facebook. I am just taking it a day at a time. I am wraping my ribs so I will not hurt as much when I cough or sneeze. It will take some time to heal, but I will get thru this. There has been only one other time that I hurt my ribs while having a cold and it took a while then too.

Tammi,,,I wish I could offer some kind of wisdom,,,but with each couple, they have their own way to communicate. Since I have been married to Hal for coming on to 40 years, I can only say that we still hold hands, touch each other's leg in the car but only for a few minutes to just let each other know we care. Otherwise, we don't carry on a conversation for the whole trip. He goes in his office to watch TV and I stay in the living room. If we watched TV together, we would never agree on what to watch like it was ten years ago. He has turned into a grump and I just don't want to hear his grumbling. He does tell me he loves me but does not call just to talk. He was never one for that. I am surprised he got his cell phone but don't expect him to change his habit of keeping me aware of his plans. That will never change!!!!
I am the last one to be made aware of what is happening in the family.

I will probably never get him to go to WDW but he lets me go on my trips because he knows that is what makes me happy.

Let Bob pat you on the leg and then pat him back and then say,,,let me drive now before I jump you !!!!!!

so after it taking forever to get through VA, the 5 year old keeps telling us we are lost. Nae Nae our gps says we won't arrive until 2:30am. Whoopie

All of our electronics have died at least once. Something is. Always plugged in getting juice. DD is driving. My iPhone is next in line for juice.

I agree with Kristine, I also think Bob is insecure about your relationship based on his past experiences.

I do have to say what I tell my daughters, if he's not who you will be happy with for the future the way he is right now, he never will be. He is who he is and that's not going to change.

Now that I've said that I hope you and Bob work through this, you are both wonderful people who deserve happiness.

Robyn - I'm so sorry to hear our Little Lucy is feeling bad again, sounds like she may be a candidate for tubes.

Deb - You guys just can't get a break, lot's of PD for you household


Jennifer - I'll let you know how SWW's are after our May trip, I was going to avoid DHS that weekend but Brandon LOVES Star Wars so I would feel really bad if we didn't take him.

We enjoy PT 50's Cafe, most of the time they don't cut up with us much, I guess it's because it's usually just the two of us. I love the fried chicken, and it's enough to share.

I would suggest you wait on the waterpark, the girls would probably have just as much fun at the resort pool and it would definitely be easier on you.

Okay. 15 and one half hours of travel later...... I'm in love!!!

I sure hope I like it half this much when I see it in the daylight. Right now, it's da bomb!!!!

Sso let me share my "stupid move" of the weekend. I think alot of you know I have had a few throat surgeries and they removed my thyroid- So due to that, I am taking Synthroid everyday. Now, Saturday was our firemen st pattys day parade..and my friend came overnight...So we went to our local chickies and petes for drinks..If i know im going out for drinks, i do not take the synthroid til later, but somehow i forget saturday...appaerntly the medicine doubles the effects of the alcohol and makes it take longer to get out of your system.

Yesterdya i was in bed all day long....lets just say ill never make THAT mistake again!!! ugh

Now, Saturday was our firemen st pattys day parade..and my friend came overnight...So we went to our local chickies and petes for drinks..If i know im going out for drinks, i do not take the synthroid til later, but somehow i forget saturday...appaerntly the medicine doubles the effects of the alcohol and makes it take longer to get out of your system.

Yesterdya i was in bed all day long....lets just say ill never make THAT mistake again!!! ugh
