Good morning,

I have tried to keep up with the posts this weekend. I had about the worst ever weekend with Katie. She is so mad  about the move & I just can't deal with it anymore. She's only 13 & she has me so frazzled I can't imagine what it's going to be like when she is 16 or 17, has a boyfriend, or access to a car!!!:headache: She's so angry that she came out with some real zingers.

So I apologize for not doing individual responses & I am sending :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to everyone.

Anne Marie, I am so sorry this is happening. Not totally surprised, but unhappy that you have to deal with it along with everything else. Is she lashing out at both you and Dana or just you?

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this, Anne Marie. I'm guessing she was probably in denial, up until both contracts went through, and now she sees it as a reality. Lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and    coming your way to help you all get through it.

I'm sorry that she isn't dealing well and she is taking it out on you. When our friends moved from Connecticut to Vermont it was the 12 year old girl that resisted and protested the most. I'm thinking that the hormones at that age add to the drama. All 4 children like it here better now though the 12 year old still really misses her friends. That being said they are now dealing with the divorce of the parents and extra cirricular activities of the Dad so the move really was minor considering the new developments.

I went to bed with Colby at 9 PM. The poor little guy just couldn't sleep last night. I don't think he slept a solid 20 minutes between 9 PM and 4 AM. It was such a long night. I remedicated him at 2 AM as that was when he was due again and by 3 AM he had a very high fever again :sad2: He wanted to get up because he was so hot. At 4 AM he spent about 20 minutes on the potty. When he finally got back in bed he was able to sleep a bit more soundly and just got up now. I'm going to try to keep consistant meds in him today and maybe he will feel better by tomorrow. Chris is on deck for tonight so I will at least sleep then, maybe I'll get a nap in today. Chris is supposed to prepare his boss today as it really isn't hopeful that he will work tomorrow.

Robyn - I'm glad you were still able to enjoy last night. But poor little LuLu. :wizard: for her.

Oh poor Lucy! :( I hope the ENT can come up with a plan and get that poor baby some relief! :wizard:

trying to catch up :

Robyn-I am so sorry that Lucy still doesn't feel well. I hope the ENT can figure some action plan that gives her relief.

Dang, I know I read other things but I am still feeling off.

:wizard: and  all around.

Poor baby Lucy!!!

exactly what I was going to say. I hope the ENT has a solution.

Thanks guys!!! She is back to herself today. I am keeping my fingers crossed that our doctor will agree it's time to talk about tubes.

Anne Marie- Many 's to you and some:wizard:

Terry- I am sorry you have been in pain. I hope you feel better soon.:wizard:

Bernadette- I hope everyone is feeling better today. :wizard:

Deb- I hope that by the end of today everyone is feeling a bit better.

Tammi- I am sorry that you and Bob have hit a bump. I am sure, though, that you'll be able to work through it.

Jen- :dance3: :dance3: Disney THIS week!!!!

Steffy- I hope daylight brings the same giddy feeling!! Relax and enjoy!

Debbie- I sure hope that you and Richie will be able to squeeze in a trip in Aug. I'd love to meet you!!

Jennifer- I loved your photo pass pics. Can't wait for the trip report!

Okay. 15 and one half hours of travel later...... I'm in love!!!

I sure hope I like it half this much when I see it in the daylight. Right now, it's da bomb!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Needless to say, I'm off to bed. It's 4:00am!!!

Enjoy your vacation, Stephanie! :goodvibes

Anne Marie,
We moved from Jacksonville to Tampa when I was about to turn 15. It was horrible. I can remember crying and crying and the Ogre being SO MEAN to me and saying that he would just quit his job so I could stay with my friends. But he was evil and we never got along anyway.
My point is, this is devastating to Katie. Doesn't matter that it will impact the rest of you, she can't see past herself. I know she is frustrating you, but try to hang in there with her. She is sad.

DS is supposed to see the diagnostician today, but I got a recorded reminder that his appt. is tomorrow. Um, big difference! Need to sort that out!

DS has also announced that he has to make a model of the moon phases. :scared1: Excuse me??? So there's that. AND the history project that is now all wonky because I don't know which day we see the diagnostician. So there you have it!

I am so sorry:hug:   Cassidy can be a bear often so I can tell you I've heard some zingers. It was at it's worst when she was Katie's age, so they do often mellow out.

Do any of you know if Melting Pot has pricing for children??

poor sweet pea!! I was hoping he would be better this morning.

I've inquired about that, and I believe the answer is no. I was half-tempted to take my kids and just let them share in my meal (there is plenty to go around) but haven't done it yet.

Terry I'm sorry to read that you hurt your ribs. That is so painful especially when there is coughing involved.

I just did a load of laundry and apparently Nick had a pack of gum and his MP3 player in one of his pockets. now there is gum on everything and the MP3 player isn't working :headache: I hope it dries out as he uses it all the time. I was able to pick the gum off most of the clothes. The only thing that is still covered is the shirt that it was in. It's Nick's favorite, but I'm not sure if I'll be successful getting it off or not. I didn't need this added challenge today.

Colby is happily watching Scooby Doo at the moment, but he keeps telling me that he wants his brothers to come home

My brother is also down with the flu. He has had it since Saturday and he's home from work today too, the fever seems to be worse for him. His son had it last week and just went back to school today.

I believe I have my days and my dining all figured out for August. I'll just have to save what we can't squeeze in for our next trip.

I would write down alternates for each ADR in case you can't get your first choice, that way you won't lose any time while you are on the phone with them.

I pulled out the scrap of paper I wrote on when I was talking to the diagnostician. His appt. is Tuesday. I am just a dingbat. :rolleyes1 Now to figure out what we need to do today.

Good point. I can't believe this crazy ADR system that they are trying to implement. I think that they should let DVC members use concierge for ADRs as well, to avoid the nightmare that we are about to face.

Now we know where DS gets his dingbattyness. ;)
