Welcome home, Jennifer!

I can't wait to hear about your trip!!!

HA!

The girls are totally showing off their "medals" in the post-race photo! :rotfl: :teeth:

Well, I had better go get my sleepover girls dressed and ready. We've got to head to Kristi's as soon as the baby gets here. Then, I've got to go to Target to get set up for my new job there. Nothing too exciting, just the comp shopper position. Rachel's friend's mom is the assistant for HR and had been doing it, but it was too much for her on top of her regular work. So, she called and asked me if I wanted to take the position. It's 4-8 hours per week depending on the list so not a lot of money, but it will be totally earmarked for Disney! Plus, I'll get the employee discount at Target which will help some too.

After that, I think we're taking the kids to the mall, Kassie may get her ears pierced and then who knows what else. Just some general merriment to celebrate the first day of spring break.

Mom, Rachel, Kassie and Chase are heading to Oklahoma on Sunday and Erin, Brendan, Kaylin, Connor, Terra and I will follow on Thursday. (Plus, Kristi in a crazy StLouis to Austin to Oklahoma then home.) My cousin is deploying to Iraq in early April so we're all going down for a family gathering while he's on his pre-deployment leave. We'll all be back on Sunday. So, if I disappear in the craziness of trying to get us all ready to go, that's why.

For now I'd better get our Girl Scout cookies all figured out so we can wrap that up. Catch you all later.

Tia - :yay: for the new position! Hope it adds to what you are already doing to make things easier to plan. :goodvibes

I guess I probably shouldn't mention that while I'm reading this, I'm eating Ben and Jerry's Peach Cobbler ice cream. Sorry, Tammi! I'll have a spoonful for you.

I got Katie all registered for Jr. High today. It was kind of a bittersweet thing. She's really excited about things. Along with her required classes of English, Science, Utah history, Math, CTE, PE and Art she is also going to take Intermediate Orchestra, Choir, and Drama. If any of her electives don't come through, she chose Mythology, Dance and French I as her alternates. It just doesn't seem possible that I have a child old enough to be in 7th grade.

Now, I get to spend some time getting ready for the twins birthday on the 21st. They are going to have a cooking party, where their friends will come over, decorate aprons, make chef hats, make their own pizzas, put together fruit salad on skewers and watch Ratatouille. They are only inviting 6 friends, so it should be ok.

That sounds like a lot of fun. We did that at a pizza place a few years ago. They made their own personal pizzas, decorated aprons and enjoyed what they made. I had little chef hats too. It was a lot of fun :thumbsup2

You all know how terrible I am about sharing pictures, but I finally have some to share tonight. We were in Disney around Noah's 6-month milestone, and he was sick for his 7-month, so I followed Jen's lead and scheduled 8 month portraits.

He's such a little guy, especially compared to how quickly Matty raced through baby-hood. No teeth yet and no crawling either. He wasn't overly smiley for this session, which is my fault, because it turned out the poor baby was relapsing with his double ear infection. I'll always feel bad about that, but we did get some great portraits.

We're going back tomorrow for Alyssa's 5-year portraits, and we'll also attempt a picture of the three of them. :upsidedow

Wow, I would have never guess that he was sick. What a cutie

I'm still pages behind, but working towards catching up on my breaks.

I am going to be horrible at this catch up; I've got a migraine, woke up to my 3rd and final thanks but no thanks from last week, Jim was a complete and total tool last night (he actually threw temper tantrums while demanding respect:rotfl:) I told him that I hope whoever he ends up with next the best of luck.

Jennifer-welcome home and love the "show off" picture:goodvibes

Janet-I don't think I welcomed you home:flower3: I am sorry this trip didn't change Gary's mind, but you still have Disney with your boys.

Tia-girl! you so know how to add drama into your life don't you??? Poor Conor. and YEAH!!!:cool1: for another job....wanna send one this way??:confused3 :rotfl2:

Amy-Noah is just so dang precious:cutie:

You all who got the snow...send some this way!! We were supposed to get snow today....woke up and it's beautiful outside with 70's forecasted for part of the weekend.

Beth-I am sorry Laura isn't feeling well. I hope she is feeling well enough to compete tomorrow.

I'm trying to take a bunch of things to a higg-end consignment store today in the hopes they can help me with summer school tuition. This 20% pay cut is really scaring me, but we've gotten some more work this week. I'm hopeful things will turn around. Just sad that I won't get to see the snow next week.

I saw this, and I'm so sorry the interim is difficult, and that you had to give up your SB trip.  I hope that things do begin to turn around soon! :wizard: :wizard:

Hi everyone! :)

Heidi, congratulations! :yay:

I had intended to catch up properly and might still, but not yet. I have 2200 pictures (not including photopass and race proofs) to go through, and want to try to do as much of it as possible before Kyle goes back to work.... all on new software. :faint:

Please let me know if there is anything big going on!

And Lindsay, I know you are planning a baby-clothes shopping trip :) -- I am happy to report there is SO much more available now than there was when I was pregnant! I had a hard time finding ANYTHING, but now there are plenty of outfits in many of the stores, and "Pooh Corner" at DTD has boatloads of adorable things! :goodvibes:

Welcome home, Jennifer! And thanks for looking around for me. :thumbsup2 Now, I just need to keep my fingers crossed that my OB will schedule my 20-week U/S right before we go (and that baby cooperates!). ;)

I LOVE the pic of the girls with their medals!!!! How amazing is that.

I was going to respond, but I see Tammi helped you with that site. :goodvibes Have fun making plans!

Theresa - I'm so sorry things are so difficult right now. Lots of    headed your way!!!!

Tia - I'm glad to hear Conner is okay. Good luck getting everything done for your upcoming trip. Yay for the Target job! I think I'd take it just for the discount. :thumbsup2

Beth - I hope Laura (and you) get to feeling better! :wizard: :wizard:

Amy - adorable pics of Noah!!!!

Theresa -

Marci - another  for you too as you deal with the 20% pay cut solution to keeping companies afloat. I hope it works for all our sakes! And that you guys can weather it OK. I am sorry that your trip got canceled. Hopefully another will find its way into your schedule soon.

We will. One good thing is that I really don't need to change my ticker! :rotfl:

We loved the ease of walking into Epcot from our location at BC 2 years ago. It was such a short trek that we were spoiled. Hopefully this change won't make for too long a walk. And Bob is delighted with the room offered in the 1BR as opposed to the standard room at the BC.

The best part of it all is that I just saved us $600 which would more than pay for the "free" dining we got with the Bounceback booking we had. Now I just have to decide if the DDP coupled with our TiW plan is smart or if we should just stick to TiW.... where is Elizabeth when we need her?? ;)
