And I will add that it is cheaper to have 2 studios than a 2 BR.

For the first week of June this year, a 2 BR at OKW for 7 nights will be 263 pts. I believe they are renting in the 10 or $11 range per point. So that's around $2630 for a week. Renting DVC is by no means cheap. A studio would be 98 points, or $980 for 7 nights.

We will. One good thing is that I really don't need to change my ticker!

We loved the ease of walking into Epcot from our location at BC 2 years ago. It was such a short trek that we were spoiled. Hopefully this change won't make for too long a walk. And Bob is delighted with the room offered in the 1BR as opposed to the standard room at the BC.

The best part of it all is that I just saved us $600 which would more than pay for the "free" dining we got with the Bounceback booking we had. Now I just have to decide if the DDP coupled with our TiW plan is smart or if we should just stick to TiW.... where is Elizabeth when we need her??

The things to remember about DDP are no appetizer and no tip, plus the fact that a signature place will cost you 2 TS. And you tip on top of the full cost of your meal. The TiW basically knocks the tip off of all of your TS & alcohol.

Hey guys. A quick pop in for a prayer and pixie dust request. Chris called as we were all leaving Target this morning to tell Kristi that he got laid off at the Mini dealership. They have still been getting 3-4 sales per person per month the last month or two so this was a shock. Poor Kristi is about to lose it. She went to pick him up as he was driving a demo. I'm not sure what his next step will be. He may apply to the police department or who knows. Luckily, Kristi got good news from her doctor this morning that her wrist looks good. He'll check it again in June.

At AK they have value, standard, then Savanah and conicere

The Value is cheaper then OKW. Any one know any thing about this?
Value is 83 for a week standard is 99.

I am thinking 9-10 nights. checking in on a Friday night or a Sat. leaving on a monday. This would be cheaper for us then a Moderate. Then I could put the difference towards my moms room.

If you want a value then you probably need to find somebody who has AKV as their home resort and book it at 11 months out, which would be July. The thing is, the contracts on renting can be pretty restrictive so don't do it unless you are SURE that's what you want to do.

I put our mail on hold while we were away for delivery to start again on the 12th, as of today still no mail. So I called to see what was going on & our regular mailman has been gone the last 2 days & the substitute for some reason did not deliver All our mail is still sitting at the PO & is suppose to be delivered tomorrow. Elizabeth I think our substitute is in cahoots with your mailman

I did get a reply from Airtran & as a gesture of good will(their words)have been given a $25 credit to use on a future flight. I really did not expect anything, but I will gladly take it & appreciate them for getting back with me

You can rent all of the points from one person if you can find somebody with that many to rent. Then they book both studios for you. Probably actually easier that way.

I decided to make an angel food cake today....and didn't realize that there is more than one size tube pans. My oven will get a cleaning before supper, to bad it can't tell me if the cake is good.
