I got a Mousesavers alert this morning with US/IOA 2 park, 2 day tickets for $80 each. The 7 day tickets were going to be $215, and these were only $160. I can't imagine we'll spend more than 2 days there, so the 2 day tickets should be fine. :)

Home again, home again... jiggity jog!

I was going to post that and forgot when Tammi texted me. I am glad it will work out for you all! :thumbsup2

Our roads are amazingly hit and miss. Some are completely bare and others are completely snow-covered and full of ruts. They look like country lanes. And I am not talking about subdivision roads!

that didn't take too long...glad you are home safe!!

we both are lucky enough to work fairly close to home... only a couple of miles at best. Thanks, Theresa. :goodvibes

Just got a text from Tammi... she turned on her gas logs and has dug out her driveway in case they need to go out for dinner. I hope they have enough warmth and their power comes on soon!

thank goodness for a gas fireplace :thumbsup2

The power outages in our area just dropped from over 11,000 to a little over 3,000 in the past 10 minutes! Let's hope they can stay ahead of it now!

Our neighborhood still isn't plowed. That will happen late this afternoon if that.

Useless facts I am discovering with free time...

over 1/8 of the Richmond metropolitan area is without power.

sounds like mine. And we have the woods across the street so our little section of roadway will take DAYS to clear. :sad2:

So I think we were without power for 4 hours. The temp in the house got down to about 64. I was really starting to feel the chill so I turned on the fireplace. I try not to use it much because it really jacks up the gas bill. Nicholas didn't notice as he was out sledding the entire time. But Alyssa and I were curled up in front of the fireplace playing games. Then Nicholas came home soaking wet. He sledded into the creek across the street! :rotfl: I threw him into the shower to warm up!

The winter storm warning for our area has been canceled but it has started to snow again. :confused3
