We were practicing this morning :teeth: ...

(Is "Infant" the smallest size hat? Do any of them run differently? My girls must have oddly shaped heads or something, because those suckers weren't staying on! :rotfl:)

How cute! At least Avery (L) and Elise (R) kept them on! My DDs would have ripped them right off their little tiny heads at that age!! And I do believe those are the smallest hats made. They have a little bit of time to grow bigger heads! ::yes::

Welcome home, Bernadette! Can't wait to see pictures.

Hi, Bernadette! DH immediately asked when you are going to post pics.

I didn't have IPO do very much for me last year because we were only in concierge for 3 nights. They did everything correctly - don't remember who handled my stuff by e-mail. My phone stuff was handled by Don.

Terry - I think it was that kind of a freak storm! I am glad you were not immediately impacted by it. Looked kind of rough!

Deb - I hope you get to feeling really better soon!

I came home after I was done teaching instead of going to rehearsal. I, too, have that upset stomach that you all are talking about. It is not resulting in anything yet, but I feel yucky and thought it best not to share with my fellow Singers!

Welcome home, Bernadette! I can't wait to see your pictures too! :goodvibes

Welcome back Bernadette. We were just watching the weather in Florida and they are in for some freezing cold night. Poor Tom and his family. All those cute outfits are will be hidden under jackets, and hopefully they bring some warm ones. It sounds like you had a fun trip. Hopefully you were able to relax a bit while you were ther.

I cant believe its just 8:00a nd im ready for bed..what a busy couple of days! I had an all day workshop yesterday then kindergarten registration today...now im wiped! Getting closer to the weekend at leaset

OK...so I still have a lot to learn about my camera but taking over 2,000 photos during the trip did help. I know I'll get better in time but I'm pretty happy with some of the photos I got on this trip. I will admit the dSLR is much more of a "burden" then my Sony was! I had sore shoulders for the first few days-I got used to it later in the trip. I am glad I waited to buy the camera as I wouldn't have wanted to deal with it when the kids were very little.

SO....we picked Lizzy up from school around 11:30, made a quick stop at the bank drive through and DH drove us to the airport. There was no traffic so it was a nice easy drive. Lizzy's teacher gave her her homework that morning. She had several books worth but I only took what we could easily carry in her backpack. As it was she didn't do too much on the trip. We left Lizzy's winter coat in our car and even though there was no line at the skycap I decided to go inside since it was in the 20's. There was no line inside either. I asked if we could fly standby for the 2:10 flight vs 4:15 we had booked. No line at security either. We got a snack and found out we could take the earlier flight if we flew middle seats one behind the other. I was glad Lizzy said OK to that. I was talking to Lizzy as the plane was boarding and the woman in the window seat next to me gave Lizzy her seat. How nice!!!!

We landed on time to Orlando at 82 degrees. No lines at ME-they put us right on a bus.

We soon saw this-such an exciting site!!!!

Then this:

Poly was the first stop. We had a short wait to check in and I soon found out we got exactly what I asked for in a garden view room. Here's the view from the room:

We had my Owner's Locker delivered and then went to get something to eat at Captain Cooks. I had a nice stir fry-a huge improvement over the Captain Cooks that the Poly had the last time I was at the Poly. We ate outside and couldn't get over the difference in weather from a few hours earlier in Boston. With the sun gone it was probably in the 60s. I was actually a bit chilly in my jeans & long sleeve T. We ate outside and then went to the beach for Wishes. It is funny how far off to the left the fireworks look from here but they look directly over the castle when in MK.

We went back to Captain Cooks and got Mickey Bars. :mickeybar We went out to the beach to eat them and found a swing while we waited for the Electric Water Pagent. Lizzy LOVES this thing!!!! I have to say I rather enjoy it too.

Lizzy made a sand castle and we both just let the atmosphere of the Tiki torches and Poly music soak in.

Lizzy couldn't resist testing the water on the way back to the room:

Our luggage was in the room when we returned. Lizzy had another snack on the balcony as I unpacked-she thought that was so cool. We couldn't believe we were really here!

Lizzy got a lot of use out of her Pooh hoodie!!! At least Tom shouldn't get any rain. That was a real pain. Tonight is supposed to be VERY cold in Orlando-26 but that will likely be in the middle of the night. It is 41 now. Lizzy & I were out at night & early mornings in the 40s a few times.

Yay, pictures!! :cheer2:
DH says Lizzy is growing. Of course she is, all of the kids are, but he happened to comment on it. :)
She does look like quite the young lady!

I know I say this everytime, but having those one on one trips sound really nice!

Hunter liked the one of her on the beach

They really are nice! It was really nice spending time with Lizzy. She's a real Daddy's girl so it was nice to have her all to myself for a few days. The others understand that they will get there turn except Emma has finally caught on that she won't go until 2010 and is trying to tell me she HAS to go this year.

I brought home Darth Vader Stitch for Emma-about a 4" high little plastic thing way over priced for $10. She saw it in August and I had my coworker pick one up for me on his November trip but he got Yoda Stitch-who know there were 2 different series of those Star Wars characters. And I got her a cute Tramp. You could buy accessories for him like a carry bag and collar but I can make her those and she can choose non girly fabrics.

I got Joe a 2 CD set of music from all 4 parks that he LOVES and a set of coins from the countries in Epcot that he also loves.

Great pictures, lovesdumbo. I love how the castle is all lit up.

Emma is absolutely correct. She HAS to go to WDW this year. In August. Did you know they extended the Buy 4, Get 3 free deal through August 15?

I just woke up from my nap and looked outside. It is freaking snowing!!!!!!:lmao:
