it's not pretty....worse of all, Bill is running around like a big skirt all hysterical....I may slip him a Valium...and I'm not kidding

I can't imagine having to fight off melting snow AND rain. Sounds like an uphill battle. :wizard:

Ok....I'm picturing the dancing elephants from Fantansia! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

may the force of the shop vac be with me......it's my shift now.

catch you all later......

Woo Hoo :cool1:  :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

I can now do the following things again on my laptop.
Run Itunes
Use Firefox
Open and Use Downloaded files

I no longer get messages stating OS Check has stopped working.

All because I finally got rid of all remnants of any Norton and Symnatec products.

I knew what the issue was for awhile, but did not have the time to fix the issues.

Kristine, you look close to Katrina's boyfriend's hometown. He is down there visiting his mother. They are in Hoffman Estates. She has been down there several times over the last couple of years.

Kristine, I hope that your shift on sucking up water goes smoothly!

Our weather is crazy too. Heavy rain with thunderstorms today, extremely foggy tonight. Should be close to 70 tomorrow.:confused3

We are off to Chuck's mom's early in the morning. We are her Christmas dinner assistants. I hope the weather is alright. It is semi-raining here and is hanging at just around freezing. Tomorrow night we are supposed to get snow. We may end up at her place overnight.

stay safe driving. Have a great time Christmas dinner Elfs.:)

So now that Christmas is over, does anyone have plans for New Years Eve?

We will be staying home as I have to work the next day. I will probably make a few appetizers for us to munch on & for Gary & the boys to have for New Years Day. Sounds exciting huh lol

Garrett's birthday is on the 3rd, so I really need to concentrate on that now. I do have his gifts bought though, thanks to some good Christmas sales :thumbsup2

I can't believe 2009 is almost here!

I don't think we have any plans for now. I'm sure we'll end up at Kristi's house eating something and probably playing games or breaking out the Wii.

Pixos are not meant for impatient little 4 year olds :headache: She did about 10 dots and then gave up.

Oh, and Lucy has a double ear infection.

We canceled our plans for tomorrow morning, breakfast with our 2 sets of friends and their kids. The one couple lives an hour away and I am just not up for that drive. Still feel ok, just have absolutely no energy.

Ack! Not more. I hope that Lucy feels better soon.

remember I said we didn't know what to do with ourselves tonight....well our entire area is under a major flood warning....and we have begun taking in water. I am so tired of this.

I think we will take shifts tonight to try and stay ahead of things

Yowsers, Mother Nature's just gone insane up there, hasn't she. Good luck staying ahead of the water and even more so that there's now sewer back ups.

Glad your computer is finally cooperating more. I hope you're feeling better.

To all of the still (and newly) sick DDA and kiddos - Lots of :wizard: that this is the end of it for us all!!!

Lindsay - I'm sorry to hear about your job. I was laid off on the 18th one year and the whole right before Christmas part was almost the worst part of it.

We're home!! It is a little crazy to have landed in a St Louis warmer than the So Cal we left, but I'll take my warm where I can get it. We're supposed to get lots of rain tomorrow and then have a pretty nice Sunday and Monday. That will be good for Terra who may start trying to race her new car through the house if we can't get outside soon.

It sounds like our good news is more and more of a possibility so hopefully I'll get to share soon!

I'll work on getting some pictures uploaded and posted tomorrow from DL, Christmas, etc. For now though, I am beyond tired and hungry on top of that. Good night all!

Kristine I hope the sewer did not back up! It was very foggy here last night as well, certainly not a good night to be out & about. Right now it is raining & in the 50's.

Becky great pictures!

Vicki hope you all have a safe & fun trip!

Tia glad you made it home safely!
