Deb and anyone else, sorry you are having computer problems with the facebook thing.
I received all those emails too, but I thought it was another application so I just deleted it. I have enough trouble trying to keep up with the dis, let alone all the Facebook applications!

Glynis, glad to see that you got to take a little break today. Don't overdo it!
Give yourself some time to heal from your CS. That's an order from Dr. Tom!

Theresa, I am hoping the perfect job finds your way! I know that it is out there for you!

I have been feeling crappy the last couple of days. I am feeling a little better today, but still not great!

Leighanna and I are working on decorating her construction paper Christmas tree she brought home from school. I punched out about 300 branches in varying colors of green and we just got done gluing those on. We have it glittered and are waiting for it to dry to add some ribbons, buttons and some other little things. So far it is looking pretty good.

Terry and Stephanie, I hope you are having a BLAST!

Have a great evening all!

I just got home from my work Christmas dinner--it was okay, but not much fun...im kinda glad its over. Im just watching the grinch nwo and being a bum..ill be headed to NYC in the morning but ill probably be around for a bit tonight

Thanks, Vicki. Yes it is.... and he had already lost his bonuses which were even more than that. It is going to be tight around here.

I suggested that we cancel the WDW but both he and Kristin said no. They said we have already paid for most of it and the things that are left (special dinners, the Segway Tour, the carriage ride) can be canceled and we can spend lots of time together in the parks and having our own mini "Food and Wine Festival" as we eat at CS restaurants instead of signature ones.

Kristin also reminded me that she is working and can chip in. She had offered her sister money and the offer was lovingly refused at this point. But I have to admit that I am starting to get a little scared.

:grouphug:

That will be wonderfuly for you. Didn't you say that the girls laptops have built in cameras too :lovestruc

Yes, they have built-in cameras. If they hadn't, mom was going to buy them for them as well. Mom bought one for her, my sister, my brother, Chuck & I. The only issue is that mom doesn't have high speed internet at home. However, she spends quite a bit of time at my sisters and it will work well there. It will be wonderful to "see" my nephew in Japan when he says hello. He sounds so cute when he says Hi Aunt Vicki. He is two now.

Those are perfect gifts! I can't believe your nephew is 2 now. It seems like not long ago that the girls went over there to see them.

Whenever is fine! The computer issues are more important than my CD. I know we'll get it sooner or later.

Sorry that some of you have been having issues with Facebook and your computers. I got the message but since it came from three different people it seemed pretty suspect. The virus only does something to your computer if you had cookies from Facebook, otherwise it deletes itself.

Elizabeth- They could have got your name as sometimes they ask for names of references with certain types of loans, when the application is filled. We had to do that at Advance America. Then if the person did not pay their short term loan, we were supposed to call the reference that we had never called previously. One of the many reasons I only worked their about 3 days.

Elin-:wizard: :grouphug: I hope that you can make things work. It is scary out there.

My Mom got the job she had interviewed for. She Although it is only for 4 months, it is full time but has no benefits. But she wanted to get away from her job at school as they screwed her over due to her vacation request for the cruise that she never even ended up going on. Basically they told her she had to go on the sublist, or quit. She could not keep her regular job.

Theresa- Good luck I know you will find something.

I love my twin. We are standing in a 75 minute line to see Tinkerbell.

You would have to love someone an awful lot to stand in a 75 minute line! I ended up doing the same for my niece but it was for Rock n' Roller Coaster after she chickened out the first time.

I am home now. Roads were good most of the way. I can't believe there is less snow here than in Lansing. Chuck is helping me setup my webcam.

I'm here now. I had to get the rest of the family out of the house for a church Christmas party. Now, Timothy and I have the quiet house to ourselves for a couple of hours. Nice!

I hope you got to enjoy some quality Mom & Baby time. :)

Tom - Feel better soon!:wizard:

Becky - I hadn't thought about them listing me as "nearest relative not living with you" or some crap like that. Great. There is no telling what they could have defaulted on. Good thing Mom watched their kids all day on Black Friday so they could SHOP!

Vicki - Glad the roads were not too bad!

Robyn - Those pics are terrific! :goodvibes

Marci - I am looking forward to seeing you and Lindsay tomorrow!

Diva e-mailed me that Mom's face has turned bright red from her chemo. She said Mom called the oncologist, but Diva didn't know what the Dr. said. I will call Mom tomorrow and see how she is doing.

I wish I would have known you were going to NYC. As I have been wanting to go this Holiday season, but had no one to go with.

I hope you have a good time.

The only way i would stand in a line for 75 minutes was if I thought it was going to be MUCH shorter when I got IN the line. Like the day we waited 45 minutes for pics in Toontown. The posted wait time was 20 minutes.

okay need to head to bed as I work tomorrow. It has been a pretty crazy week so far their.

Robyn - Love the pictures!

Elizabeth - Hope you are able to get ahold of your Mom and that the reaction is something normal.

Becky - Glad your mom has something at least short term. Any chance it could extend?

Well, my morning got a little easier. Erin had one person that had said she could watch Kayling, but only for the morning. She called her again and she will watch her while we do Breakfast with Santa and the cooking class. I'll just pick Kaylin up on the way home. Plus, this girl lives really close to us so that's even better.

Yep, that's what happened for Rock n' Roller Coaster. The posted time was 40 minutes (which is longer than I would normally wait as well) but my niece was really upset that she had chickened out so I waited in line with her.
