DDA Chapter 15

In my house it is because DS has stolen it to tape drawings to the wall, or build some contraption out of toilet paper rolls, or attempt to repair something he broke because he leaves things on the floor that don't belong there.
If I can find the roll there won't be any tape left on it, so I just use gift bags. :rolleyes1

but I would have to tape the gift bags up so Dude doesn't bring it all out...so just waiting for tape to come home.

You will find a job. :wizard:

Dang-I have definitely picked the wrong time to grow a back bone and be out looking for a job haven't I?? :lmao: The forecast that came out today is instead of gaining 300,000 jobs (like usual) in November & December there may be a loss of 600,000:scared1:

If I didn't believe this was what I needed to do and if God hadn't slapped me on the back of the head saying...."Theresa I've given you all these openings have faith and jump through" I would really be worried.

:woohoo:

Well, one good thing has happened today. The flights I wanted for DH miraculously reappeared this morning! So now we depart at 7:45 AM (the first flight of the day) and we come home at 5:25 PM which gives us another half day. We were looking at having to come home at 9:45 AM so we wouldn't have even been able to eat breakfast at Boma on our departure day. Now we will be at WDW for breakfast and lunch, and we'll hop on ME around 2:30 PM. :goodvibes

No worries, wasn't your fault.

Sorry about the Facebook crud. Someone sent it to me and the it went out from my computer. I think I may just delete the Facebook account. What a PITA. Sorry!

Hope you can fix it soon. :wizard: :wizard:

The computer is still not working properly and it appears that the trojan virus is trying to reinfest the computer. McAfee keeps catching it, but the computer is taking way to long to boot up. I'm running more anti virus and anti spyware as we speak. What a PITA. I'd love to discontinue my facebook account, but I can't get on it to do so.

Sleeping the afternoon away is good. I think poor Amy would like to do that.

Where the heck did everyone go??? I promise I showered and I'm wearing deodorant.

Bob had some bad news at work today. They are cutting everyone's hours to 32 per week. I keep telling myself that at least he still has a job but that is a pretty substantial cut in pay. :(

I'm so sorry. I hope he gets some takers from the salemen.

I'm here now. I had to get the rest of the family out of the house for a church Christmas party. Now, Timothy and I have the quiet house to ourselves for a couple of hours. Nice!

Good evening all! I hope all is well, outside of all of the computer junk. :headache:

Kristi went into surgery about 12 today and was out around 3. The doctor said that he really wishes she hadn't waited so long. The tumor had totally destroyed the bone and was starting to attack the tendon. They had to repair the tendon and then rebuilt the bone with bone cement. The doctor thinks that it will be pretty stable. Hopefully that means he doesn't think it will come back this time.

The reason she had to wait was lack of insurance. When mom told the doctor he had a lot of not nice grumblings about insurance companies. If she'd been able to have surgery six months ago when she first felt like there was a problem again it would have been so much easier to fix.

The doctor will check her out again in the morning and will probably release her around lunchtime. She'll then go back on Wednesday for a check on it and to be casted. We don't know yet if the cast will be below or above the elbow. With the extent of the damage she's afraid it's going to be above the elbow. Yuck! The cast will stay on for 3-4 weeks and she can go back to work at Mother's Day Out in 6 weeks. She'll go back to her internship in a week or two depending on what meds she's on and for how long.

For now, she's just hoping to eat something soon without feeling nauseous. She got a few bites of dinner down before needing to stop. She did eat the world's largest chimichanga at 10:00 last night though. It was so big it would have tied me over for two days.

As for me, I'm hosting the kiddo sleepover tonight. We went to the mall and played tonight, had dinner at Chick Fil A and hit the drive-thru Christmas lights. Now we're getting ready to have cinammon rolls and hop in the sleeping bags for a movie. Tomorrow I'm taking them to Breakfast with Santa at Kassie's school and then Kassie and Terra have a cooking class. Unfortunately, Erin couldn't find another babysitter for Kaylin so I think I'm adding her to the festivities as well. Not sure how I'm going to corral a 2yo and 16mo in a crowded school with lots of mayhem and only 1 stroller seat, but we'll figure it out as there isn't anyone else. If nothing else, it will be interesting. I'm seriously considering a movie or some shopping on my own Sunday morning. I think I'll have earned it! :thumbsup2
