I have been trying to watch my count so I don't miss it!

I'm so proud of Becky. She got her absentee ballot and has voted and sent it back in. She can't get home from Ferris to vote. Katrina, Chuck & I are all set to vote on Tuesday. I'll vote and then head back downstate.

I can not even tell you how happy I am that I figured out the early voting thing. I fear the lines on election day will be horrible!

I have 4 days off this month. Voters Day on 11/4 (this is only during Presidential Elections), Veterans Day on 11/11 and two days for Thanksgiving 11/27-28. I came home to vote and I'll have to head back to Lansing after I vote.

Nice! I get 3 days off for Thanksgiving. But I have Princess overnight one night this month so my actual hours worked will probably be the same as not having extra time off. On the other hand, my days off are all paid and so is all of the time I will have Princess that weekend, so it is the same number of hours for more money.

Wow your neighborhood sounds like the place to be for Halloween! Love the pictures you posted

Vicki- How is the training going for the Princess Half? I am still contemplating signing up for it, but just am not sure. I need to go buy new sneakers. My favorite thing in the world shopping. Elizabeth would you like to go sneaker shopping for me??

I am not a big shoe girl. My own sneakers are almost 4 years old. (I don't wear them very often.) I have those New Balance, 2 pairs of Easy Spirit slip ons with the elastic strap around the back, and one pair of Avia mules where the back is just open. The Easy Spirits gave me a blister on the bottom of my foot at WDW, the Avias gave me a blister on my toe at the Pride parade one year. I will say I really like the sneakers with no back but I have a hard time finding them wide enough.

I was babysitting tonight. I didn't eat before I left, so I had a string cheese, a granola bar, and a pumpkin muffin (couldn't resist!) for dinner. I just now had a bowl of oatmeal. I think it's time for bed!

Friday night was Trick or Treat, yesterday Brandon had a football game, and afterwards we went out to eat and did some shopping. I bought three more pairs of jeans, which puts me up to a grand total of five, we'll need ten days worth of clothing so laundry is inevitable, but that's ok.

Today is house cleaning and prepacking day so if you see me hanging around please shoo me off.

I rarely use recipes so I don't have one for chili, I do use tomato sauce and diced tomatos. I made chili one year for Halloween and it went over so well that now it is expected. The menu used to include apple pie, but that is no longer allowed.

Love all the new pictures and the avatar and siggy changes! I like when we all do this when the seasons change. It gives me even more insight into the people I have come to know and love.

Good morning...

We had a great time at Disney on Ice. We saw the Worlds of Fantasy show and it was very cute. It had Cars, Little Mermaid, Lion King and the main part was based on the new Tinker Bell movie. The girls loved it and I enjoyed it too. I have a ton of pics and I'll try and post some at some point.

We got home at 9 last night and I managed to get the wall behind our tv painted. That is the worst wall because we have 2 bookcases and the tv along it. But it's done and everything is moved back. Today after church I plan on tackling another wall. Haven't decided it if is going to be the dining room or the wall where our slider is. Baby steps and I'll be done by Sunday.

I just logged on to our phone bill to pay it and got the shock of my life. Eric talked to his sister for 34 minutes on her birthday and guess how much it cost us?!? $98.26 She sure better appreciate that gift! I told him he is no longer allowed to call her. It's a good thing he doesn't like her all that much. We can't afford for him too.

I will be back later to catch up, in the meantime and 's. Off to church

Good Morning. Chris and Colby were up at the crack of dawn I wish they could have been quiet for the rest of us. Oh well. Hopefully the furnace guy will show up today. Hunter has a B-day Birthday at Noon and I need to run errands at some point. If I don't get some TP there's going to be some wet butts by tomorrow I am also hoping to get some organizing done in our basement.

Well it appears that Airtran has canceled another flight on me. Guess I won't be coming home from Orlando.

We were supposed to leave MCO at 6 PM. Now the nonstop flight from MCO to DCA leaves at 1 PM. Um, no, not acceptable. The rest of the flights that day have connections. Again, won't do. So I feel a big battle with Airtran is in my future.

ETA: Oopsie. My mistake. I did something wrong. It's still there. Whew.

Am I supposed to be training?

Unfortunately, my life had become so crazy that I haven't done anything in weeks. However, I'm getting started again today because I only have 4 months. If I stick to the training, I know I can do it with the 4 months.

The place I stay in Lansing now has a training room with a treadmill, weight machine, stationery bike, etc. so I'll be using that. I'll also start using the pool which I haven't done all the years that I have travelled even though I usually have access to one.

My room is clean, Colby's room is clean, the bathroom is tidied up. Best of all I hear that the furnace guy is here. I haven't ventured outside, it is really cold here. At least I'm making progress

DS is working on his math project. We printed out the words on the computer, now he is cutting them apart so he can glue them to the poster board. The nightmare is going to be the "illustrations". There are 27 "positive" words and 30 "negative" so coming up with a picture or a drawing for all of them is going to be horrible.

The breezeway is getting cleaned up, the laundry is almost complete, and I have only sat down to DIS for 15 minutes so far. I'm having a good day!

Yesterday, I got the shopping done, we got the camper cleaned out (Chuck had already winterized it).

We need to get the air conditioner covered on the camper and get some branches in the front yard piled up in a burn pile for later.
