I'm really glad my twin is smarter than a fifth grader.

She booked and paid fopr our trip to Orlando. I booked and paid for our trip home. Or at least I thought I had.

She just happened to look at the itinerary and noticed on December 16th we were leaving BWI arriving at MCO. Hmmmmmmmm, no.

Thank goodness there were flights available leaving from MCO arriving at BWI on December 16th or I would be toast.

We had a very busy day, we also broke one of our Disney records but I'm not going to tell yet. I've added a little to the trip report but I need to get some sleep, we have an early breakfast at Tusker House and need to get things packed up before we head out. We are plannig on heading out sometime after lunch.

I can't wait to read all about it.

I was just reading a thread about teacher gifts. I just don't know if we are going to be able to swing teacher gifts this year! DS has SEVEN teachers, plus his percussion instructor (who is a different guy than the band director). The overwhelming consensus is for gift cards. Last year I did Barnes & Noble cards for the teachers. $15 for Math & Language Arts because they were double length periods (and I really liked those teachers), and $10 for everyone else. I think I might have to scale back a bit.

Elizabeth - although we gave gifts in elementary school we never gave anything to middle school and high school teachers.

I need to get out today and start my shopping since the kids aren't here. Plus I need to get that furniture ordered. I just might have to do a little pampering as well, a waxing and manicure are needed.

Elizabeth - although we gave gifts in elementary school we never gave anything to middle school and high school teachers.

I may not do teacher gifts this year. Out of 7 last year I think only 2 said "thank you", which is a BIG thing for me. If I go out of my way to buy a gift I expect to be thanked. I will think on it some more. DS's friend's mom is on the "teacher appreciation" committee so she might have something planned that won't cost as much as 7 or 8 gift cards.

I am exactly 30 minutes into my 30 hours of duty and I have decided this was a terrible idea. I had to get up at 5 AM. I didn't pack an overnight bag last night because I fell asleep. So this morning I had to shower AND pack a bag in the span of 35 minutes. I only have one pair of jeans that remotely fits. They are dirty. I packed them anyway. I will have to wash them later. I forgot my toothbrush. My cell phone has one bar left and the only charger I have is the one in the car.

I told DS to bring his homework with him, but he didn't. He is hacking like an old guy who has smoked for 4 decades. DH didn't bother to drop off DS's Z-pack prescription yesterday because it took so long at the Dr's office, so DS hasn't had any of his meds for the cough. Sam's pharmacy doesn't open until 10 AM. I wasn't planning to go back home today but it looks like I might have to. Princess won't care - she will be thrilled. DS HAS to get that homework done. I told him twice last night that I wanted him to start his math but he didn't.

I didn't put enough half & half in my coffee, so it is gross. I used the last of the container that was open, and I was already late so I didn't mess with opening the new one. My bosses don't keep it on hand so my only option here is milk.

Princess has a birthday party at 3 PM on the other end of town. I am not happy about that. She will have to be up from her nap no later than 2:30 so we can get there on time. I bought a present but I can't remember where Momboss said she put it. I looked in the closet with the wrapping paper but I didn't see it in there. We may end up having to buy another present! After the party we will meet DS and DH for dinner. DH is supposed to be finished working in time to pick up DS BEFORE the party. I don't want to have to drag DS along because he will be bored.

I need to make this quick as we need to run. Bowling this morning. Then we can come home and I'll feed the kids. Chris works until 1 PM. We have a concert 1 1/2 hours away at 3 PM so we'll have to pick Chris up and run. It's an Oldies concert (I can't remember the performer). Hopefully we will enjoy it. It's in the city I went to college in. I haven't decided if I want to go to the mall or just come home. (yep one of the few malls in VT ) Have a great day.
