I need to make this quick as we need to run. Bowling this morning. Then we can come home and I'll feed the kids. Chris works until 1 PM. We have a concert 1 1/2 hours away at 3 PM so we'll have to pick Chris up and run. It's an Oldies concert (I can't remember the performer). Hopefully we will enjoy it. It's in the city I went to college in. I haven't decided if I want to go to the mall or just come home. (yep one of the few malls in VT :rotfl: ) Have a great day.

Never pass up an opportunity to go to the mall! ;)
Have fun today!

I don't have the time either. I keep getting email notifications from friends and flair, but I haven't gotten on to check things out.

I guess now is the time to tell everyone that I have turned off all notifications so if I don't get on Facebook I won't know that you have tried to contact me. I just cannot keep up with all the stuff on there. Fish and plants and Christmas ornaments and trees.... just too much "stuff" to keep track of.

Hopefully no one's feelings will be hurt.

HAVE A GREAT DAY

Elizabeth - I hope your day improves exponentially!! :)

Elin - I have never bothered to go on Facebook or any other similar thing. Uncle1 has a Facebook page (or whatever) but I just don't want to mess with it.

I like the premise of Facebook... just not all the "stuff" that is there. I have reconnected with 3 friends from HS that I have not seen in 40 years! That part of it is wonderful.

Tammi - I may see you "out and about" since I have things I need to do too.

Good morning, DDA! It is a cold and dreary day here. Blech! It is also supposed to be a youth work day at church so I hope, for Rachel's sake, that lots of people requested inside help. I know Kristi requested worker to rake her mountain of leaves in the backyard. Don't know if that will happen now. Maybe they can shred her mountain of papers instead. :confused3:

We're heading out in a little while to do our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. I guess since we're supposed to drop them off at church tomorrow, now would be a good time. ;) Otherwise, there's not much going on. I really need to get to the playroom moving and ousting, but Kaylin's here so I'm not sure how well that will go. Maybe during naptime.

1 Hour and 15 minutes and counting!

Actually, it hasn't been all bad. Although I never quite realized how rough and tumble 8 year old little girls are. One is leaving here rather bruised on her face, she got pushed into the wall.

My 2 mom helpers left around 10:30pm after everyone watched TinkerBell. I fell asleep on the couch with the girls til around 1:30am and then made my way upstairs. The girls were up at 6am :scared1: The big news is that that Emma's friend from scouts, the ones who's dad was in Iraq, spent her first night away from home with out her mom or dad. She hasn't been able to do that since he was deployed.

After everyone leaves I have to meet 2 scouts parents at the bank to open up our account. Then I plan on getting lunch with them and visiting my sister and Brendan. :cloud9:

Eric and I are just about not talking :headache: He can't seem to understand that my brain function is very limited with the little sleep I've had. He is ticked that the Girl Scout crap is taking up a ton of time but it is what it is.

I will post some pics later tonight.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Kristi's doctor appt on Thurs went as expected. She's having a CT scan tomorrow to assess the extent of the problem this time and is scheduled for surgery on Dec 5. The plan right now is to fill the space with bone cement, but they may also transplant large pieces of bone as well. They talked about doing the transplant part later, but I think she's up for anything that would spare her the possibility of a 5th surgery in 5 years.

Yay for an end in sight! I can remember going to a sleepover in middle school where one of the girls ran into a tree. (An indoor tree.) It happened right before I got there - I think they were playing hide and seek or something. Her throat was covered in DEEP scratches. It looked HORRIBLE. If my child came home like that I think I would be very upset! :scared:
Yay for Emma's friend lasting all night!
I hope you can get the scout stuff squared away so you can get some sleep! :wizard: Hopefully Eric will get over being mad once everything is in place.

:wizard: Good thoughts for Kristi!

That's one heckuva a party you threw, Miss Robyn!

Shall I deliberately look for you while I am out shopping, Tammi?

Sounds like quite the party! I'm glad that all of the Scout stuff is coming under control. It sounds like you're almost there. Just get some meeting plans in line and get going and you'll be good. I know that it took me a few weeks to really get a handle on what I wanted to do for the year, but now it's a lot easier. Of course, I still need to plan Monday's meeting, but that's as easy as looking at my spreadsheet of plans for our requirements, choosing what we're doing this week and getting the supplies. I found a lot of ideas for our projects through the links on this site: http://www.scoutingweb.com/scoutingweb/index.htm if you guys need any help getting started.
