Today is our last full day :sad1: , it's Magic Kingdom again with dinner at OHana.
Enjoy our day and OHanas!

I managed to get to bed and be asleep by 9:15pm but was wide awake at 2:30. I did manage to get about another hour or so from 5:30 til 6:30 but I am still so tired, so much so I feel sick to my stomach. Thank goodness I've recruited 2 friends to stay and help out with the sleepover tonight.
:wizard: Good luck with the party. Hope you can get some rest this weekend!

I did order my Christmas cards & have some of the done & addressed.
:scared1: I was hoping to take a Christmassy photo this year but I may end up just using a photopass one again as I haven't read enough about my camera yet to get a photo I like of the kids with it. The skin tones all look so washed out.

Thanks! What kind of tripod do you have?
Here's the one I have. It is very compact so it will fit into a backpack easily. The head doesn't move around as well as the old big tripod I have but I really should try it out again. I couldn't figure out how to take a verticle photo with it. It is now $69:

It isn't officially 2 weeks...my last day will be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, espescially since the bonehead isn't "accepting" the resignation until Monday. My last day on that paper is my last day.
I've read your update but I just had to comment on this. You made the right decision to leave!!!!! My last job (17 years ago last week) was really bad. A new guy bought the place, fired my boss and gave me all her work and no pay increase. It was a small business but I was the only one who knew how to write a check so I had to do all the accounting (including cost accounting as it was a manufacturer), all the payroll by hand, and there were only 3 of us in the office so I had to answer the phones to take orders. I told him I couldn't do it and he'd have to set priorities and he'd just say I want it all. I was getting chest pains driving to work. When I gave my 2 week notice he told me I couldn't leave. He said I'd have to call my new employer and tell them I couldn't start. I told him when he fired my old boss and gave me all her work he must have considered that I might choose to leave. "No, I never thought of that." I had a friend who stayed for 5 years after I did-don't know how she did it and there were 23 people in my position those 5 years and one was there for over a year.

I made an appointment for DS to go to the Dr. this afternoon. He has this horrible cough that is just not getting better. He has had it for at least 3 weeks. I bought some Mucinex and he said it doesn't help. Hopefully it isn't pneumonia. I just want the Dr. to take a look at him.

I called the school and talked with an administrator about the bullying. He said they are aware of the problem and if there are any additional instances of bullying the student will be removed from the campus. He said the coach is supposed to be supervising the boys when they are in the locker room, and if I hear from DS that the coach isn't there that I should call back and let him know. Fair enough.
:wizard: Good luck at the doctor. Emma had a cough for weeks that just seems to be going away.

The school seems to be handling the bullying thing OK.

After going out to our celebration dinner and spending a ridiculous amount at Costco for food I bought a lottery ticket, powerball and state lotto ticket. I was throwing out the lottery ticket when I reread it and I actually won $40:banana:
:woohoo: Things are look so much better for you!!!!!:woohoo:

We're going to a Stuffed Animal Sleepover tonight.

The kids get to take a stuffed animal to the Community Center to play games and have a snack. Then we leave the stuffed animals and pick them up in the morning. When we pick them up, they'll give us a scrapbook, depicting what the stuffed animals did all night. Hopefully, they'll behave themselves! ;)

I also am bringing a "back-up" stuffed animal, just in case a certain 2-year-old changes his mind about leaving Pooh Bear. :rotfl:

I love that idea!!

I think I am going to take my family to HSM 3....either that or the HSM ice show.....hmmmmmmmm....decisions, decisions.

That sounds like fun (says the person who has only half-watched HSM 1). :)

I think Bolt looks like it's going to be good. I tried to cash in my Disney Movie Rewards dollars for movie tickets, but they were unavailable.

Why doesn't my 2-year-old nap anymore?!!

At least Noah is taking a decent nap today.

Amy I sent you an invite to facebook via email. once you get it and confirm then you can go to my friends and add the DDA's that have confirmed me as a friend. still waiting on Deb, and a couple of others I think.

Sorry I hadn't responded. I can never seem to find time to get onto facebook :sad2:

Woo hoo, I just tied Kevin! Thanks Karen, Jennifer, Deb, and Tom!

Did you know I'm a little competitive? ;) :teeth:

/
Because I post so sporadically, I shall start Jen's birthday wishes one day early!

Happy Birthday Jen! :bday:

I used to teach Pygmalion, so I'm predicting you are going to have a GREAT day with your MIL! ;)

Time to turn the computer over to a little girl who wants to play on Playhouse Disney dot com.

Bye! :wave2:

I just called Glynis because we hadn't heard from her in awhile. Well, her internet is down again. So I gave her my lowdown and got hers.

Peanut is estimated to be about 6lbs, so Mary's record is safe:goodvibes and she has gotten all her Christmas shopping done except the kids for dad and she'll have them do that tomorrow. She feels as big as a house (who doesn't at this point in a pregnancy?) and I don't think she can wait to meet Peanut in person.

Theresa thanks for the update.

Miles had a half day on Monday. All the kids had Tuesday off from school. Dh took a half day today. When do I get my "me" time this week? :rotfl:

I know it sounds selfish, but I really LIKE having days off when DS and DH aren't home! My Thanksgiving and Christmas days are all days DS will be home.

Let's see, our school does that, hood milk tops, shaw's grocery receipts, we joined the price chopper points for schools, can tabs, ink cartrigdes :rotfl: :rotfl: Good Luck

Amy, our elementary did Box Tops and we saved them for awhile last year to see if the middle school would want them. There might still be a baggie of them floating around my kitchen. I will look and if I have any that aren't expired I will send them to you. It seems the middle school doesn't participate.

Theresa - The dude on TV says healthcare (pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, etc.) and energy are the sectors to go to for employment. In case you were wondering. ;)

Bernadette - I am pretty happy with the response from the school. Since DS said he has 4 classes with this kid and the ONE incident in the locker room is the only problem he has ever had I can't imagine that there will be more issues. DS can't even remember exactly when the locker room thing happened. He says last week or maybe the week before, so the kid has been leaving him alone for at least the past week.

I decided to try to sort out all the totes in my basement. They used to all be labeled, but not anymore. I found a whole tote of jeans and cordorouys that actually "fit" Hunter. He where mine and my brother's as kids. My mother gave them to me years ago and I forgot  His closet is now overstocked with pants :confused3 Chris has 4 totes of clothes down there that he has most likely forgotten about. Maybe someday I can get him to weed through them. He is a pack rat so I don't know how much he would part with anyway. Maybe the entire totes should just disappear :rolleyes1 I bet I got though half the totes so maybe this weekend I'll conquer the others.

I remember what it was!!:lmao:

Your luck is turning around!

I was wondering the same thing. But, I also think of you as a peacemaker all of the time....are you saying I am wrong??:confused3

there are days when I am not! But usually, yes.... you have me pegged correctly.
