DDA Chapter 13

Hmm. I just talked with AAA and it seems that Great Wolf prices are what they are. :confused3 IF DS was showing a little enthusiasm I would book it right now and not give it another thought, but he is lukewarm at best. He isn't enthusiastic about doing ANYTHING for his birthday. I don't know what his problem is.

I put gas in my car this morning - $3 per gallon. DH just called to say he is on his way home, but he was stopping at Sam's to put gas in his car. $2.89 per gallon. The Sam's near our house doesn't have gas pumps - the Sam's he stops at is one way out by his work.

We'll be at OKW, but no parks :sad2: I will get to Downtown Disney though.

I need to talk to Chris and my Mom. The boys don't know that we will be anywhere near WDW. If we do a character breakfast we would want to do it early as we will be driving to Vero Beach right after. Nick and Hunter are so happy to be going to the Bahamas they really don't care that we aren't doing Disney. Colby wants to do Disney, but he wants the rides. I'm not sure that a character meal wouldn't be a big tease.

I think we will probably do ESPN club or Beaches and Cream for dinner on Saturday night. We'll see.

You are right....Colby may think he is going to a park if you have a character meal....I know mu guys would...I hadn't thought of that. I think if we are in the STATE of Florida my gang would insist on going to Disney.:rotfl:

Good luck, sounds like a fun trip either way!

Alcohol and lots of it. ;)

I have to think of something that Bob and I can go out and purchase to have in the room at POFQ for dinner that night just in case.

I was thinking cheese and fruit and some good sausages and other meats as well as some great breads and hummus. Stuff like that. Anyone else have any ideas?

Speaking of flu shots, my cousin asked the doctor today if her youngest (16 yrs.) should get one and the doctor said speaking parent to parent no, he is too young.

Ann Marie, glad you feel a little better about the move. Sorry about the traffic issues.

I have ham & beans in the crockpot. Usually I make cornbread, but I still do not have my oven. Any suggestions :confused3 I don't know of anyplace that sells cornbread already made lol

Boston Market does.

I think I will make some cornbread right now...I've been promising it for awhile now.

16 MONTHS or 16 YEARS? Flu shots are not intended for kids younger than 2 years, but they are recommended for all kids ages 2 and up.
DS got his mist on Saturday, and Princess had the shot last Thursday. She turns 3 in January.

Last week I was putting the dishes away and Princess came in the kitchen. She said "Where is my turkey bang blade?" Her WHAT? :confused3 She said it again. I still didn't get it. She had to say it about 8 times. Luckily she wasn't getting frustrated. She thought it was funny that I couldn't understand her. FINALLY her pronunciation changed a tiny bit and I figured it out. Her Tweety Band-Aid. On her leg. From the flu shot. She was wearing capri pants and they were covering up the injection site.

We've managed to survive thus far. ;) Of course, they've all spent a few minutes in the naughty chair. Seems the rules were forgotten.

From the little bit I've gotten out of the parents at drop-off, the trip wasn't a complete bust but it did have its moments. Ty and Hayden freaked out at the fireworks, they had to leave the park completely, and at the castle show.

I'll be back later to catch up. :goodvibes

Hi friends!!

We went house hunting in NC this weekend. Looked at the suburbs of Raleigh & were very happy with what we saw. So at least I feel more settled about that. We found 2 homes we liked alot but we have alot to digest as we saw 20 homes in 2 days in 2 towns (Cary & Chapel Hill).

We were in CH the day of the Tarheals/Notre Dame game so that was fun to see all the college spirit & sea of light blue shirts.

So things are moving along & I am not stressing (AS MUCH!:rotfl: )

We had a B%$#@ of a trip home on I 95. I got a ticket in VA for passing a slow car. :sad1: I had been the speed limit & passed this car was going under the speed limit & bang I got nailed! I think I was over the speed limit for 20 seconds....:sad2:

Then some jerk in a little sports car who was going too fast lost control of his car & had a huge spin out in the middle lane almost hitting us..I slammed on the breaks to keep away from him but we were about a foot away from each other when he spun around.

The traffic to get back into NY was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! I laughed when our realtor told us they had alot of traffic in CH due to the football game...Hey you don't know traffic until you cross a bridge back into NYC!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Well anyway it was a very productive trip.

Hope everyone is doing good.

sounds like a good trip until coming home. Hope it helped make the move better.

I so don't want to wait 2 yrs to go back. I think the post vacation blues are sitting in. I can only do so much planning right now for 2010. As we do not know what time of year we will be going and if my brother, mom an nephew will be going.

think how bad it is for me.....we don't get to go back until 2010 AND it's been a year and a half since I've been. :guilty:

Terry this is what the NCL site shows

On other cruise lines, you'll spend your final morning getting up at the crack of dawn just to wait endlessly in a jam-packed public area filled with people. We think your last morning should have the same Freestyle spirit as the rest of your cruise. So feel free to take in some entertainment, grab a bite to eat, even relax by the pool for a bit. We'll let you know when it's time to go. Rather go ahead and get back to land? Just take advantage of our Express Disembarkation.

Ugh My right shoulder is killing me. I don't think I did anything to hurt it, but it acts up sometimes. Usually a couple of motrin have it fixed, but not today. Maybe this respirtory thing has settled in my shoulder :confused3 In any event I'm off to work in a few minutes. Have a great afternoon/evening.

That is good to see that they made those changes. :goodvibes

Seems like lots of kids are afraid of fireworks. I don't love the noise, but I don't have to leave the parks because of it! :rotfl2:

Gotta love the naughty chair. Princess has a naughty mat. It is a bath mat I bought on clearance at Target. :)

Hope the shoulder feels better! :wizard:
Hmm. The website says relax BY the pool. I wonder if that means you are not allowed to relax IN the pool?
