Am I the only one that keeps thinking that this time last year we were getting ready to head to Disney for a wonderful DDA meet :sad1:

I enjoyed myself so much & everyone I met :goodvibes

I wanna go now!!!!! That was such fun :goodvibes

I was considering this one.

That is so true.

Sorry about the ticket, but it sounds like the rest of the weekend went well. I hope you can decide on a house and get it at a reasonable price :wizard:

Get yourself to the doctors. It seems like we are sharing it :scared:

Nope, still resisting at this point :rotfl: :rotfl:

the bad thing is I had a z-pack for the sore throat stuff, I feel like my cough got worse after the z-pack.

I booked our Segway Tour this morning! The CM said, "I hope I have something available for you on those two days." It was Kismet because we wanted the 7:45 tour on 12/22 and that is exactly all she had! :yay:

Good Morning All!

Abi is home sick...I usually let the girls decide whether they stay home or not but she let it slip that the longer she was upright the worse she felt so home she is.

So I decided to stay home with her....she is sleeping now. I may go back to bed (Glynis that Seance book was so the wrong book to start reading last night:scared1: ) and then more resumes and dishes done.

Cassidy has regionals this evening....pass some pixie dust this way that they even advance. That is how bad their scores have been this year.
:wizard: :wizard: for Abi & Cassidy!

Deb,
Wow!! Just saw you are going to Disney before your cruise! yay!:cool1:

I so don't want to wait 2 yrs to go back. I think the post vacation blues are sitting in. I can only do so much planning right now for 2010. As we do not know what time of year we will be going and if my brother, mom an nephew will be going.

Mac, I hope you get an answer soon :goodvibes

Mac, good luck with MAW! :wizard:

Elizabeth- One last thing, where does the race end? Joe said he's pretty sure he'll join us at the Arboretum too.

At the mall - it goes in a circle.

Say a prayer or 2 for me today. I feel it's gonna a be a loooooooooooooooooooooong day. ;)

Off to shower and get the girls moving. Good morning DDA!!

Good luck, Robyn! :wizard:

Yay for a Segway tour!

Now, before I finish my lesson plans for tonight, I need to decide if I want ot make a couple more ADRs, if I can get them.

Can anyone tell me about Raglan Road for dinner and Tusker House for lunch?

I have heard Ragln Road is very good. The last time I was chatting with Member Services the CM highly recommended it. :)

I have ham & beans in the crockpot. Usually I make cornbread, but I still do not have my oven. Any suggestions :confused3 I don't know of anyplace that sells cornbread already made lol

Boston market sells the little individual cornbreads. :)

Sounds like a very productive trip, Anne Marie. The traffic on 95 starting about here in F'burg on a weekend is a B%$#@ I agree. I am sorry yougot a ticket. :sad2:

Chapel Hill and Cary are good choices! I just know the perfect house with the perfect schools is there for you. :thumbsup2

Good luck with the house! Sorry about the ticket!

no way....really? what store do you have? I thought Jewel was all over IL

We had Jewel in FL, but they don't have them here.

That's what my Mom has in KS. We don't have HyVee, either. We have Tom Thumb/Randall's/Safeway, Kroger, Albertson's, Whole Foods, Central Market, WalMart Neighborhood Market (which is JUST the grocery part in a free-standing store), plus Super Target and Super WalMart.

DS gets his report card today. I HATE that we don't have the online grade book this year because I can't monitor his assignments. :sad2: He said the Reading teacher put up a list of "A" students and his name wasn't up there. He had a 98% on his progress report, so he asked her why his name wasn't there. She told him his grade must have dropped! This is the teacher he doesn't like, and she wasn't at "Meet the Teacher" night. We may be going to war here shortly.

Deb,
Wow!! Just saw you are going to Disney before your cruise! yay!:cool1:

We'll be at OKW, but no parks :sad2: I will get to Downtown Disney though.

I need to talk to Chris and my Mom. The boys don't know that we will be anywhere near WDW. If we do a character breakfast we would want to do it early as we will be driving to Vero Beach right after. Nick and Hunter are so happy to be going to the Bahamas they really don't care that we aren't doing Disney. Colby wants to do Disney, but he wants the rides. I'm not sure that a character meal wouldn't be a big tease.

I think we will probably do ESPN club or Beaches and Cream for dinner on Saturday night. We'll see.

I can understand that thought. Good luck on the decision.

We have tentatively put ESPN there on our schedule. That happens to be Sunday, December 21... and there are LOTS of football games on that day. We are hoping if we arrive at opening (11:30) we might actually have a chance to get in and eat before all the dads arrive to escape the parks.

Aaaaaack... time to get ready to go to work. I don't want to go to work. I want to stay here and chat! See you all tonight! :goodvibes

I just repacked everything. I hadn't factored in having our luggage picked up the last night of the cruise. That means that we had to have smaller suitcases to have things for the last morning. I ended up doing a small suitcase for each of us (carryon size) and one larger one with the snorkel gear, etc. That way we can handle our own luggage in the morning other than the one big suitcase. Since there is no rush to leave an NCL ship (or so they say) the kids will have access to their swimsuits if they have time to swim the last morning. We will definitely have breakfast before we disembark. I also think the smaller bags will be easier to fit into a car.

I even removed a few things since we can do laundry at OKW and Vero that's 2 less outfits that we need. We will wear pants on the plane that can then be worn to dinner on the cruise. I can have them all washed before the cruise and I won't need additional pants :cool1: I am actually quite impressed that I was able to pack just a small bag for each of us. If we didn't have the snorkel gear, beach stuff and refillable mugs :rolleyes1 I wouldn't even need the large one (until we come home for souveniers ;) )

That sounds like the perfect plan, Deb! :thumbsup2

Deb, Unless things have changed, the pools are usually emptied when the ship is in port. You might want to check.

Can someone tell me why a person who doesn't like sauces (me) would buy Chicken Carbonara to try?

Elin :yay: for getting the time you wanted on the day you wanted.

Question for facebook users. In my friends box, both Jennifer and Jen are there (tink and blueeyes) but whenever I send out say a Disney character only Jennifer (tink) is in the box of friends to send too. What happend to Jen (blueeyes)?
