Thanks, Debbie! At some point the purchase will have to be more than the balance so I will try to remember that! I will also try to keep up with the remaining balance so I will know what they should enter! (Or I could just buy something big and use the whole card in one shot! )

If they have not changed their system. You should be able to finish off the balance on the Amex card, you just need to know how much is left on the card, they can enter it into the system, plus you can use other forms of payment in the same transaction to pay the rest of the balance.

Since we have decided to keep DS mostly on his same schedule of Focalin that we do during the school year, we need a refill before we leave. His Dr. is out of the office. Luckily another Dr. in the group signed a refill for us. DH picked up the prescription (the paper part) and dropped it off at Sam's, but they told him it would be a 45 minute wait so he didn't stick around. At least now we just have to go back to Sam's and grab it!

I guess I'll do a load of laundry when I get home. I want to pack DS's new shorts, and I only left him 4 pairs of underwear to get through the week so now he is down to 2 clean pairs. I was a bit overzealous in packing his shorts and underwear.

I must have missed it. Exactly how many bags did you end up with, for that many days with that many outfits? Need to borrow luggage?

Congrats on the AmEx card. Is AKL where you are staying on your actual birthday/

I got my gray washed out last night -- YEAH! It had been 12 weeks since my last trim and more than that since color. I like what the new hairdresser did to my hair, though it will take some getting used to. I'm a little more blonde right now. I'm curious as to what my friend/hairdresser will say the next time I go visit her. She hasn't e-mailed me back since I asked how chemo went last week.

Good morning, all! Just a quick hello before I hop down on the floor to play animals with Terra. When Phil gets home from the doctor's we're headed to check out the new Target, get the oil changed and tires rotated, and then to the park while they do that. Add in Kassie spending the night tonight and it's gotten to be another full day. There are Terra-Daddy promises to play this afternoon though so I'll get to do some Disney planning. In looking at my schedule last night I think I may be short a meal or two. Don't remember that being the case, but I guess I had better check it out. I've also found a lot of great activity book threads here and on TGM that I want to put together something for Terra from their pages. And the ever changing autograph decisions. Thank goodness for this week off or I'd never get it finished. (Who am I kidding, I'd be finishing at 1am on departure day as usual. )

Janet- I just got an email back from Carol (the editor of the newsletter, that's the one I write the news for). She said that they didn't intentionally change your boys sexes. When they expanded ds's they expanded it to daughters. She apologizes.

Marci - 4 checked bags, 3 carry-ons, 3 backpacks. We are actually taking one bag LESS than we took last year! We are leaving 2 of our big suitcases at home. I bought another big suitcase after last year's trip, so DH is packed in one bag instead of 2. I packed DS in one of the bags DH used last year, which is bigger than the one I typically use for DS. I didn't actually count as I was packing. I figure there is no way around having to do laundry, so when the level of clean outfits looks low I will have to do some wash. DS has 3 pairs of underwear in his drawer, so hopefully that will get him through until Friday. He thought he would wear his "plane" shorts today, but I told him he better put them back or he will be wearing nothing but underwear when we fly to WDW! He put them back.
We'll be at SSR on the 5th. Early EMH at MK, late breakfast at CP, dinner at Citrico's.
Any big plans for your birthday?
I hope your hairdresser gets better soon! If she is out of commission for awhile, Landon is moving back to Dallas in September and he is taking new clients.

I am off to look for Harley dealerships in Vermont.

One is about an hour away and the other is about 2 hours away. Unfortunately we aren't headed that way anytime soon, otherwise I would have been glad to help.

The laundry is done Colby has been to speech, the older boys to the library, I got the new dump sticker for the truck and lunch is over I guess all in all it's a pretty good day. I need to get to work for 4 today so the kids get to go to my Parent's house to swim this afternoon. They're pretty happy about that. Nick has 2 of his 3 summer reading books finished and he is planning to write his paper tonight. I'm so glad that I haven't had to nag the kids about reading, they are doing it on their own.

A bit better, maybe Elise is starting to sleep better and be less fussy. She hasn't had a fever in at least 36 hours either. Avery is now a bit feverish, but continues to drain more than Elise ever did... so hopefully her illness will be worse, but faster. Even if it runs the same course, we figure we'll have 2 moderately healthy girls in about 2 more days!

We've decided to do a 3 week Hawaiian vacation the summer of 2012. That gives me 4 years to save. We're talking about doing a cruise, maybe out of Washington or California to Hawaii or from Hawaii back. That would eliminate such a very long flight in one direction. The last time we went it was a 15 hour flight from Vermont to Hawaii. Now I find myself starting to research. I don't know anything about Hawaii or cruises for that matter. We have plenty of time to plan so research it is Anyone have any cruises to suggest? Disney should have their new resort open in Hawaii by then (I think) so we will be able to use points to stay their for at least part of our stay. I'm even toying with the idea of buying points at the new resort once they start selling their Our first purchase should be paid off by then.
