I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure they do, just remember to tell the cashier to enter the amount left on the card before tendering, if the purchase is more than the balance it will decline the card if they don't.

Thanks, Debbie! At some point the purchase will have to be more than the balance so I will try to remember that! :thumbsup2 I will also try to keep up with the remaining balance so I will know what they should enter! (Or I could just buy something big and use the whole card in one shot! :rotfl2: )

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I am off to look for Harley dealerships in Vermont.

Good luck with that, Elin! ;)

Good Morning DDA!:goodvibes

Thanks for making me laugh this morning!

Hello, Tom! Hope all is well with you! :)

I am going to WDW in THREE DAYS!!!

I had a question answered that I submitted to a newsletter, how cool :thumbsup2

Q. Hi. I just read in your newsletter about the butterfly garden behind the Acadian House at Port Orleans Riverside. I have never seen this mentioned before. Can you tell me more about it? I will be staying here for the first time next month with my two sons and we all are looking forward to our stay! Thank you. (Submitted by J. Corbin)

A. The talented gardeners at Port Orleans Riverside designed the garden behind Acadian House to attract butterflies. This means that they chose plants that produce nectar (that butterflies can drink) and plants with specific foliage (that attract egg-laying butterflies and that caterpillars can eat). The garden also has woody plants for shelter during bad weather and for roosting or sleeping. A water source is also present. The garden is tucked behind the Acadian House to give the butterflies a low-traffic area protected from the wind.

Since you are staying at Port Orleans Riverside, a stroll over to check out this garden could be a nice diversion during your downtime at the resort. I don't think I would try to fit this into my Disney itinerary if I were not staying at Port Orleans Riverside or Port Orleans French Quarter, but it is one of the special touches that Disney adds to its resorts; one of those little-known secrets that make a visit special. Have a wonderful vacation!

Cool! That sounds really interesting, too. I had never heard of it! (Of course, we've never even visited POR )

Thanks a bunch, Terry, but it does have to be Deb. Here's the reason:

Kristin's hairdresser is a Harley owner and came up with an idea for a raffle that will benefit a very ill child whose hair she does. She has been collecting Harley T-shirts from all 50 states. We had a friend pick up one from New Hampshire last week. She is down to needing only the one from Vermont. She plans to use the logos cut from the shirts as patches for a quilt. Not my cup of tea, but I bet it will raise a lot of money for this child's medical bills. She will write one of the stores in Vermont if Deb and Chris don't live close to one.

That sounds like a really neat idea!

In my quest to find the my matron of honor and bridesmaid something "extra" as a thank you for being in the wedding - I finally found this: http://www.journalsunlimited.com/store/products/2129182/wine-journal/ at a local store when Bob and I were in Frankenmuth. I'm gonna attach a tag to these and give them a gift certificate from either Wines.com or another online wine co. They both love to drink, and it'll be something to remember us by whenever they get wine in the mail! (and I've fallen in love with gifts.com. That site is the best!!)

Can't think of much that is going on...I'll be back in a few to catch up!

I love it! I desperately wish I would have started a wine journal, especially in Rome, etc. I suppose I could still start one, but I've missed so many good (and not so good!) ones!

I bought some cute earrings while at Disney. Everytime I wear them I end up in a conversation with someone about Disney. It's amazing how many Disney fans are out there.

You're so right! I always have one of 2 necklaces on that are Mickey/Minnie, and it often starts conversation. Of course, my favorites are when people say things like, "Oh, have you ever been to Disney World?" :teeth:

Just got this in an email from Baloo. It is adorable. http://www.maniacworld.com/twin-baby-moose-in-sprinkler.html

That is absolutely adorable! What a wonderful thing to have caught!

Deb would you like me to look up the address's of the Harley shops near you :rotfl:

No idea why, but im kinda bummed tonight. I guess there is just so much uncertainty and its just getting to me a bit. I just took my medicine and im headed to bed...goodnight all

 Hang in there, Jen. Uncertainty can certainly take its toll on you... I hope you feel well-rested this morning, and hear some good, certain news soon! :wizard:

Just came back here for a second to let you all know that Kristin got the job at the bank! :)

Jen - That is probably due to the let down from all your adrenalin. That was what kept you going the past few days, and now you don't need it anymore. Understandable that you would feel the way you are. Hang in there... you will feel better.

Hang in there, Jen!

Thanks guys, I appreciate it

Which newsletter is it? I must not get that one, but I would like to subscribe!

Does anybody know if WDW accepts AmEx gift cards? My bosses gave me one for my birthday. :goodvibes

Yea for the gift card! Not sure if Disney takes them, but I don't see why not. Have fun spending it!

This is very true, good thing to point out Debbie :thumbsup2

We only have 7 days till we leave for Disney :cool1:

I am starting to get the butterflies in my stomach, you would think we had never been before :dance3:
