Congratulations to Kristin! :yay:

That's great! I hope she enjoys working there!

Elin - Congrats to Kristin on the job!

Terrific news! Tell her congratulations, please.

:woohoo: Congrats Kristin.

Kristin says, "THANKS, EVERYONE!"

:rotfl: :rotfl:

One is about an hour away and the other is about 2 hours away. Unfortunately we aren't headed that way anytime soon, otherwise I would have been glad to help.

:cool1: :cool1:

Now is Theresa, Jen and Karen could get jobs we'd be all set :wizard:

I know you would have, Deb. Thanks!

And I agree... we need more job offers on here!

Now who will I talk to, with all of you running off to Disney?

I'm not going to WDW until September and they will be back then. You will have someone to talk to, Heidi!

Jennifer - Your new avatar and siggy pictures look wonderful.

Marci - I can't wait to hear about your Atlantis trip!

I have to say I am glad our California trip was not this year. The earthquake that hit the LA area this morning was centered about 5 miles from the university where Music Camp is held!

So I am back from the doctor. I did end up with an air cast walking boot. However the first thing he said to me was surgery putting a screw in my foot to hold the bone in place and then cast it. He thinks I had hurt it before and it is a stress fracture.

Only after asking what my other options are did he say just to cast it. Then I asked if I could have the removable boot. Then he seemed to think that was the best option. I have to go back in 6 weeks and get xrays and to see him to see if it healed or if I need to get a screw put in my foot.

So I am hoping it heals on its own without issue, so I do not need the screw which he does not even know if it will work.

He said I could take it off and drive. But I am not supposed to walk on it. But I have a walking boot. So I truly do not know what I am and am not allowed to do.

I know what he wanted, he wanted to go out with his buddy for a ride in his new car and for smoothies. He left before the secretary had written up all of my paperwork for follow up x-rays and other appointments.

Here is hoping the friend ended up with two flat tires and the smoothies landed all over those two. :lmao:

Jennifer-I could just stare at Elise and Avery all day. :goodvibes They are so sweet. Thank you for putting them in your signature:lovestruc

Afternoon all...

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the cakes. I'm sorry if I've bored y'all to tears with them.

Things with our schedule are out of whack here. Eric is in training this week in Fairfax. He is leaving around 5:45am and getting home around 6:30pm. Lucy misses her daddy when he's not here to occupy her when I'm making dinner.

Becky- I hope your foot heals quickly.

Jennifer- :wizard: that the girls are feeling 100% soon. Love your siggy and avatar.

Jennifer- How is Virginia today? I haven't yet looked over your email, I'll try to get to it tonight.

Jennifer- :wizard: that you'll be getting a call back!!

Elin- :cheer2: for Kristin!!

Terry & Stephanie- You 2 are so photogenic!!

Janet- :yay: for being published!

Amy- I would gladly make Matty's cake for his birthday :goodvibes It's just up to you to work out the logistics;)

Elizabeth- How's your back feeling?

Deb- Hawaii sounds wonderful.

Marci- :yay: for your new 'do. I need to go get mine done, the stripe down the middle of my head is very attractive.

Heidi- I'll still be around too.

Tia- I hope you are enjoying you week off and your Disney planning.

I know I am missing more of you,'s and :wizard:.

Hello all! :wave2: I hope everyone is having a good day!

It was a hot one here...we actually stayed at the pool for almost 2 hours, because Noah was sleeping so comfortably in the humidity. He really hates air conditioning!

Though our avatar and signature are outdated (I relayed your message to Kevin, Marci! :teeth: ), I finally got some pictures uploaded to Photobucket. I'll warn you, there are 140 of them, but that's only a small percentage of the several hundred pictures we've taken this month. :rotfl:

Here's a link:
