My youngest DD has ALWAYS complained about many things 'hurting'.
Very much a drama queen in the aches and pains department.
I have told her that if she complains so much, one day she is going to be really hurting and I just won't believe her anymore.
The other night, she was out with a friend of hers. They were running around and she said she felt her knee "pop" and she fell to the ground. She came home limping and with an ice pack. I just figured she banged it and she would be fine. Her knee was still hurting yesterday and my other daughter was talking to a friend of hers, who plays soccer, and they exact thing happened to her. She told my daughter what it was and that she needed to wear a brace on her knee for 3 months!!
I tried calling the doctor after school yesterday but they were closed already. Since I had to go to Walgreens anyway, I picked up a knee brace until I could reach her doctor on Monday.
Does anyone think this is something serious or have experience with a "popping" knee?? It's not swollen or red...it just hurts if she tries to bend it or if she walks.
Kids!! It's no wonder I'm getting gray!!
