I've read with interest(and amusement) the threads on "formal" evenings. We're not formal, or gala people by any means, we wear farm clothes most of the time. That means my late dad's coats and hats-LOL. I am one of those people who would like a Captain's dinner one night, or Gala so I can dress up. I understand why many don't like it and you have to research your cruise before you go. My interest in Cunard Line was not about dress code it was more about cost. The clothes we bought in anticipation of our first booking are regular Disney park attire. They've been hanging with tags still attached for about 7 months! The only thing new we need might be a warmer jacket, hat and mittens?
