Straight to the room to drop off stuff and up for lunch! I know many love to be early, but I don't mind be what might considered as late!
With Port Canaveral, I definitely agree. I like that when we take DCL transfers, we tend to be later. I don't even recall being early when embarking in Port Canaveral. Once we got there earlier than usual and it was busy, it took us a long time to get through security, so by the time we arrived upstairs, they were already boarding. The only time we ever sat down at Port Canaveral was during a B2B. We didn't realize that we were suppose to wait in a B2B little lounge until we asked. At the time the CM didn't even know either. He had to go and check.
At other ports, the longest we've waited was, perhaps 20 mins, but boarding already started. I will admit, that I'm a bit nervous if I'm not taking DCL transfer so we do try to get there a bit earlier than usual but not as early as other guests. I think a lot of people want to maximize their first day, so they want to be able to get into the pool while it's not as busy. When we arrive, all we do is eat lunch and go to our stateroom and meet are stateroom host. That's the extend of what we do before the Muster Drill.
