Is there any point at which you have to wait in the sun to either enter the terminal or board the ship? Just wondering if waiting areas are covered or do you stand in direct sun (or wait in the A/C)

Thanks

Mrs. G

Oh, don't you worry. It's inside & air-conditioned. DS and I layed on the floor and read/played games while waiting. Tiled floor - very clean. :) Also area to grab a snack too.

The last cruise we were on the terminal was very crowded and still all was an inside deal. When you first get there you go to the second floor and the wait/checkin room is very large. When you board the ship you go thru a gangway similar to an airplane's but open on the sides, no sun directly on you except for a minute or two if they get backed up taking pictures as you enter the ship. Enjoy..smjj

Thanks for your quick replies!

In the terminal and boarding you needn't worry about the sun. The only time you might be stuck standing in the sun is POSSIBLY during the lifeboat drill, if you were on the sunny side of the ship. Where your stateroom is located determines where you have to go for the drill. If your cabin is far aft, you will likely go to Animator's (I think) and not have to stand outside at all!
