I think that if things were really that bad the would open up the discounts to more then FL residents and Military.
You usually dont see discounts in the Summer so if they start throwing out a lot of discounts this summer its probably a indication that they're out pricing people.I don't think things are great either. There are TWELVE cruises with FL resident rates right now!!! The only one that interests me (7 night eastern on Fantasy) I can't go on due to travel soccer tryouts for my daughter![]()
They offer GT rates. Disney doesnt like to offer good discounts to the public. Ive been on sailings that were about 80% capacity.I think that if things were really that bad the would open up the discounts to more then FL residents and Military.
I get what you all are saying. Truly, I do. I'm sure we'll someday book a cruise line other than DCL, but we're sticking with them as long as possible. Looking forward to our 2017 Alaskan Cruise. We'll be booking as soon as we can...whenever that is!
Which ship/date? We're booking the Vista for 6/3/17, southern Caribbean. 8 nights in connecting insides for 4 people, only $5200 including gratuity and insurance. We're doing the Vista this 6/3 as well
I keep telling myself that DCL's taking so long to release new dates because they're working on some exciting new itineraries and ports!
I think the same thing. Maybe they are trying to add Cuba or Asia to the itineraries?
This ship has sold very well. Its slim pickings for rooms on most of the sailings. You were the second person yesterday to suggest the Vista! We're doing the Sunshine out of NYC. But I did look into the Vista this coming November after the 2 suggestions yesterday (in place of my existing DCL Cruise this Oct). The timing didn't work out (over T'giving) and I wasn't in love with the remaining staterooms. Maybe 2018!
I feel like it has been by now that they have released the itineraries in the past. I'm pretty sure it was in the mornings. So I was hoping they would announce the new itineraries today, with releases tomorrow and Thursday. Does anyone remember if they make their announcements at a certain time of day? I'm tied up checking my email over and over again. Not very productive, lol!
I'm actually booked on two sailings of the Vista myself, for Christmas break and one in June of 2017.This ship has sold very well. Its slim pickings for rooms on most of the sailings.

Question. I am also looking to book a trip for the first week of Nov. 2017- I'm debating between the new RC Harmony or the Disney Fantasy. I can get a balcony cabin on the RC for two for 2800 plus some good perks such as free grats and a $190 OBC.
Do you think Fantasy can compete with that price...being that it's not during "prime time"?
This question is not just meant for you Ofinn...as I just wanted to comment on the Vista...but anyone who know about Fantasy pricing, please advise...
TIA
Check out post #5 here for opening day 2016 pricing. Early Nov, 2 adults, cat 5 = $3600+

If you book through Costco, you can get roughly $280-$300 back. Plus of course, if you have an OBB, the price will be lower. Love the Fantasy!

I checked Costco...almost exact price, also $190 OBC, but no free grats...so RC Online was actually a better deal. I"ll check post 5, thx...seems like Fantasy will be considerably more.
