WE LEAVE THIS WEEKEND FOR OUR 4 DAY WONDER CRUISE. I WAS WONDERING IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE PICS IN THE AIRPORT OF MY KIDS? I KNOW IT'S A NO NO ON THE PLANE.
ALSO I WANTED EVERYONE ONES FAVORITE PLACES ON THE SHIP TO TAKE PHOTOS. THANKS!!!!!!!!

How come you can't take pics on the plane?

I am sure you can take them in the airport.

I REMEBER WHEN DH AND I FLEW LAST YEAR. IN THERE SPILL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FLIGHT THEY SAID NO PHOTOGRAPHY. OF THAT WAS ABOUT 3 WEEKS AFTER SEPT. 11 AND NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT THEY MIGHT OF SAID FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY.

You are allowed to take pictures on your plane, even flash photos, just don't do it while you are landing or taking off. You can also take them in airports, just don't take pictures/video of any security area.

Our fave DCL pics are

-sunsets/sunrises
-early morning when no one else is around
-our food pics
-pics with characters
-the cool portholes (especially in Beat Street/Route 66)

We cruised on the Magic. I think most of my favorite photos were from photo ops with the characters. The cast members are so nice. They offer to take pictures with your camera when they snap photos of your family. Theirs are so expensive that I couldn't buy all of them, so I stuck to the ones that were perfect.

My advice is to carry your camera everywhere. You never know when you might need to have it. Oh, and stand in line for the portraits. Our family portrait turned out great. I HAD to buy that one.

Write the year in the sand and take a picture of it. Be sure to get the room number off your door. Several good shots of the ship from Castaway Cay. Mount Rustmore, also in C.C. The bridge tour made for some interesting shots. I wish I had had out my camera for the sail-away party. We stood on the deck above the party and it was colorful and fun.
