See! It's the wrong instructions on the packaging!I used to not like Joffrey I now realize it just when I make it, it’s good on the rest of WDW when they make it.

How would one clean that out? Bleach?Just be sure took for mold in the machines![]()
Possibly and the several rinses. Vinegar can also kill mold they say. I’m sure there has likely been mold at one time on some of the ones I’ve used and they cleaned it away. This one I saw I wouldn’t have been able to knowing that it was once there. It’s was real furryHow would one clean that out? Bleach?
My husband and I thought the Joffrey’s was good the first day we had it. By day 2 and beyond our taste buds suddenly noticed it really wasn’t good at all. I keep wondering if it got made differently the first day.The crazy thing is, we did cut the water to half and still tasted like crap!I'll give it another shot this Fall when we are back at WDW.
Still will continue to bring my own coffee just in case!
ETA: Thank you for confirming the coffee taste like crap, and that also validate I am not a an extreme crazy coffee snob!![]()
Sometimes you can't or there's really no way of knowing unless you take the machine apart (but no one would do that). If we really want/need to use the coffee maker, I would check all parts as much as I can especially the brew/filter basket. If I do see somethingHow would one clean that out? Bleach?
That Disney magic quickly faded after one sleep! My husband and I thought the Joffrey’s was good the first day we had it. By day 2 and beyond our taste buds suddenly noticed it really wasn’t good at all. I keep wondering if it got made differently the first day.
We bring our own pre-ground coffee now from home. Ain’t now way I’m drinking Joffrey’s all week!
I would love to get it too! Was it a deluxe studio at the og vgf?Thank you! This was an amazing view for "resort/standard". We could actually see the Beach Pool and the lake looking the other direction. We watched HEA fireworks from the balcony too! Turned the tv to Fireworks Audio channel and we were set. I would love to get this studio again.
Never mind you said it was on your post! I wonder if they have any one bedrooms like thatI would love to get it too! Was it a deluxe studio at the og vgf?
Somehow I missed this whole board and just voted a few minutes ago, and before I read your update.Okay ya'll I love that 50 of you cared enough to vote
I am keeping CCV
Possibly adding on small at BWV
Here is my long winded reasons as to why. https://www.disboards.com/threads/r...ther-give-your-opinions.3966499/post-66169873

Do you remember the room number? We're planning to stay there February! It's ok if not I'll start looking in touringplans! They do! We were connected to a 1 bedroom.
Ohh a travel pour over. Ive recently switched to pour over at homeThat Disney magic quickly faded after one sleep! Now that we are on this subject, I think there are actually a lot of people don't like joffreys in the room!
We've gotten joffreys inside the parks, they are fine. Not great, but not bad.
We bring single serve pour over, so there's no need to use the coffee maker at all as long as there's a microwave, just need hot water.
I think we will end up being really happy with this choiceSomehow I missed this whole board and just voted a few minutes ago, and before I read your update.
I figured BWV, PVB/RIV or BLT. BW would make a great addition to balance CCV!
It's really a great method to enjoy a good cup ofOhh a travel pour over. Ive recently switched to pour over at home
Yeah pour over is almost like science. Nespresso is my love but I’m trying hard to be healthier and nespresso is what I do on weekends. It's really a great method to enjoy a good cup of! Pour over requires a little more work though. Sometimes on weekends I might do french press instead of our nespresso. The only thing about the single serve pour over is that, sometimes the mugs are the resort are a tad small, so I'm not even done making it and the bag is already touching the coffee, then I'll have to use a 2nd cup to make the rest then combine it.
After doing DVC cruises, I really think there is someone high up at Disney who doesn’t know that coffee is different from coffee flavored water. My husband is in charge of morning coffee (and hopefully checking for moldI thought I quoted the coffee question, but I guess not. The in room coffee absolutely tastes like hot water. My recent stay at VGC had 70th anniversary Joffreys coffee and I decided to try it. I put just under 4 cups of water in the coffee maker and it was delicious. It's a special blend that's good, but I do suggest cutting the amount of water in half if you like to taste the coffee at all.![]()
I never see anybody talking about this here, but the tap water at several DVC resorts can be quite funky— I wonder if that’s part of why Joffrey’s tastes better elsewhere (if they are using better filters).I used to not like Joffrey I now realize it just when I make it, it’s good on the rest of WDW when they make it.
Im going to try using Zephyrillis spring water and see what happensAfter doing DVC cruises, I really think there is someone high up at Disney who doesn’t know that coffee is different from coffee flavored water. My husband is in charge of morning coffee (and hopefully checking for mold) because he wakes up 1-2 hours before me, but he will often just go to the lobby and get stuff from the Marketplace at BCV or the cafeteria place at VGC.
He did make the 70th blend in our room a few weeks ago— I was so excited about it but didn’t actually like it. Maybe 1/2 water would help.
