The hospital where I work hasn’t changed to this policy. A fully vaccinated employee who has a household member with covid can still report to work and monitor for symptoms.
With the current surge in cases, I think allowing un-vaccinated people on the ship will be a huge mistake. There will be cases regardless of social distancing.
I'm sure there will be cases even on fully vaccinated ships, because even vaccinated people are getting Covid due to the Delta variant. It's a lot less severe if you're vaccinated, but that doesn't mean Covid won't still be a risk.
Yea me too... I told my wife of the DCL guidelines for the Dream and we both agreed that we don't feel comfortable with unvaccinated adults. Yea I know vaccinated people can get the rona but my comfort level will be higher. I also don't feel comfortable going into Florida, they just discovered a new variant specific from Florida. I think if they DCL changes to only vaccinated then I would try and switch my cruise from a 7 night eastern carribean to a 7 night Mexican Cruise leaving out of San Diego. I was also eyeing the NCL cruise as well.
I know people were complaining about masks being required indoors on DCL so I thought I’d mention it. I wonder if other cruiselines will go there. I think they just had a positive on Celebrity.

I have seen nothing about Royal changing mask guidance recently. Depending on port and ship, those that are 95% vaccinated should still be masks for unvaccinated, and all other ships should be masks for everyone (assuming US departure)

This week 2 fully vaccinated people on the Celebrity Edge tested positive after they went to the sick bay voluntarily after coming down with symptoms. I think, at least for Florida, or anywhere in the Red category, self tests will be required. (Either antigen or PCR)
Maybe, maybe not. I noticed that this is for sailings 5 nights or longer. This is another example of why I think DCL will stick with 3-4 night cruises to Castaway Cay only for a few months at least.
I agree, at the very least. By board rules, we are not allowed to discuss by name the reason for the restrictions. However, it is clear, Voldemort is back.
