DCL has updated their website!! It’s under “Disney Cruise Line Operational Update”. I have to get ready for work or I’d post more. Hopefully someone else can do that. I just wanted to alert everyone that it’s there!!
Cruise insurance isn't THAT expensive. I don't see this as a major way to discourage unvaccinated people.yea, but unvax ages 12 and up has to be tested at their expense two times and provide insurance for 12 and up. That’s a big expense. I would’ve preferred the vaccine required.
I agree, because that would make it possible to not mask. But at the end of the day, if keeping kids under 12 heathy, then its ok.We can work with this, but I would have much preferred vaccines required for 12+. I guess deep down I knew they wouldn't/couldn't require them at this time.
not all insurance covers covid Related expenses. Unless it’s changed, it was expensive the last time I looked into it. Covid insurance was under the cancel for any reason policies.Cruise insurance isn't THAT expensive. I don't see this as a major way to discourage unvaccinated people.
I certainly hope DCL is preparing to talk softly and carry a big stick in enforcing this policy.Let's see how strict they are at enforcing the mask rule. Sad truth is I just don't trust people.
Exactly!I certainly hope DCL is preparing to talk softly and carry a big stick in enforcing this policy.
I can’t tell you how angry I’d be to be on that cruise, following the rules, and see some jerk walking around proclaiming that he “ain’t gonna pay all this money to have to wear a mask.”
