Thanks for the info !!
I think the biggest elephant in the room will be what testing is required.
Is it "just" the lateral flow test on the day, or is it LFT and a paid PCR test beforehand
In some ways, i'll bet that even DCL cant answer this yet as it will be led by government guidelines .
Personally, hoping it is just the need for a LFT on the day
I think DCL are all in a heap, remember they are an American company and up till now have been up to speed on American CDC guidelines, now they have to have a crash course in the UK and European guidelines. And with new regulations starting this week in The UK, they have to figure out what they all that will mean for the summer sailings.
Sorry - another random one.
Onboard / ship credit.
Do DCL offer this if you book direct with them, or is it a Travel agency only thing ?
What is the expectation on the UK cruises for value...
DCL don't do onboard ship credit, its a travel agency thing. However UK High Street Travel Agents don't do it, only American Disney Specialist Travel Agents like Dreams Unlimited Travel give it. The onboard ship credit comes from the commission travel agents get from Disney as a reward for selling the cruises. Dreams Unlimited pass some of this commission to the passengers who book with them, as they can afford to as they sell so much Disney holidays. UK High Street Travel Agents don't sell enough Disney cruises to be able to afford to give some of their commission away.
