dcl and ncl

Help me out. We are thinking about going on the NCL Sun instead of Disney this year. We have done disney and thinking about a change to NCL SUN. Will we regret this? Has anyone sailed on the Sun and how was it? Thanks everyone for your help in this BIG choice. THANKS THANKS

If we didn't have family cruising with us on Disney next year, we would probably try something different. Last year was our first cruise and it was on Disney. Loved it and am looking forward to going again, but it is a bit expensive.

We did the NCL Sun last year and Disney this year. I totally prefer Disney. The service, the food and the children's facilities are far superior on Disney. NCL has freestyle cruising, and while it has it's good points, like flexible dining times, the service was not as good. You did not have the same wait staff each night and tips were automatically charged to your account each day so the crew doesn't really work for their tips. This is only my families opinion. The Sun is a beautiful ship, but I think Disney is the better choice.

You'll have a great time no matter which you choose, after all you are on a cruise.

Don't like the idea of tips being automatically added. What's the point of tips then. Just add it to their salary.
