So was this gas thing the way Stephano planned to come back? He's finally out of his comma. Why is everyone in the hospital?

I was a little shocked when I saw Chloe and then Lucas. What is EVERYONE doing on that level of the hospital? Seriously.

Yup, Stefano sure does know how to stir things up! I'm surprised Joe Mascolo is back but VERY GLAD HE IS! That character was written for him in my opinion & he does a super job! I'm hoping he keeps Marlena's character in a coma for a looooooooooooooong time!

I learned the hard way not to fast forward through commercials though. I think that's how I ruined one of our VCR's. Now if I tape Days, I'll use our Proscan, which marks commercials & fast forwards through them itself. I can watch the whole show in 40 minutes. Just goes to show how many minutes are lost to silly commercials! I'm so NOT looking forward to our cable company's channel switch or no analog TV's next year. I won't be able to use that neat VCR anymore.

Does anyone have a cable company with DVR capability? How does that work? Can you re-record over something else? Who would want to keep soaps after watching them once?

We have Comcast with DVR capability. You have so much storage space and then you just delete after you watch. I have Days on a continuous tape so that I don't have to remember to tape if I'm not there. If I get the chance to watch it I just delete it. Lots of storage space. Believe me, I'm a major TV junkie. We'll be on vacation for two weeks in October and I have tons of channels that will be taping. The only thing is you can only do two things at once. There are a couple nights I know that I'll have a third show to tape, but I'll have to do that on the good ol' VCR. Darn!

Where are all the nurses on that floor? I've never been in a hospital where I wasn't bumping into nurses right and left. Seems with all the gas pouring through the vents, they'd be barking orders to our regulars. Oh well, it's a soap. We should expect weird stuff.

And I keep wondering which times it's Stephano and which time it's a halucination. Very confusing.

I was watching today and was wondering why the men not have the wierd Stephano sightings or having thier biggest fears haunt them for lake of a better word .

Who else is loving the Anna and Tony thing? Who else is bothered by Stephano calling Tony ANTony instead of ANTHONY ? These things and others next on what eats at Mishell LOL

I know it's a soap opera but it bothers me how Stefano is now saying how Marlena tried to kill him. How come nobody mentions all the havoc he's spread all over Salem. Like when he kidnapped Marlena or the whole Princess Gina thing. I guess the writers want us to know how psychotic he is.

It did not show her giving Marlena the shot. Nor did it show the needle after with all the scenes with people coming in there checking on her. Now that you mention that I wonder if that was what her eyes were looking at when people went in there!?

Anyone know why steve and the baby were locked in a room? No one else seems to be locked in a room. Am I remembering right was the gas that was coming into the room Steve and the baby are in pink and the rest black? Are there only 2 patients on the entire floor??

I think I saw the needle on the table. And yes, I think that's what Marlena was looking at. I personally wouldn't have looked at it when Stephano was in the room. She wouldn't want to draw attention to it, would she?

You never see any nurses anymore, or Grandma Alice with the candystripers. Amazing, too, how all cell phones work in a hospital. I thought people weren't supposed to use cell phones when visiting patients. At least, that's how it is here in our local area hospitals. Plus you see Lexie actually working as a doctor; I figured as Chief of Staff she'd be too busy with other things to actually do any doctoring. Also amazing that she seems to have specialized in any illness that comes through the emergency room.

Another question about DVR's...are programs recorded on a disc that can be removed from the machine & played on a DVD player? No one would want to watch DOOL with me so I'd play it somewhere else. Thanks for the input from everyone. I'm seriously thinking of adding that to our cable.

DVR's are boxes and everything is internal. There are no discs to take out and play some where else. You can save them for forever, I think. I still have the Samantha Brown Disney shows from the travel channel in there from April.

A little OT here, but when they show Hope again when she's wearing her regular daily clothes. Check out her bracelets she wears. They look kind of like rosary bracelets....can someone confirm what they are? I really like the looks of them. Julie Chen also wears them, but more of them, on Big Brother....it looks like anyway....if anyone can tell me what they are called, I'd much appreciate it! TIA!!!!

Yes, did you see her mention her Fleur de lis earrings and neclace to Chelsea when trying to figure out 'the surprise'. I noticed that Kayla was wearing them too when at the hospital with Stefano. They are beautiful!

I am actually in Pigeon Forge on holidays right now but am catching some of Days. I did see it this morning and said the same thing, where are all the patients. And why does Marlena only have oxgen.

Marlena didn't get that needle but Stephano almost gave it to her but John took out the lights.

I too am confused when Stephano is there and when he isn't.

Figures it would get good while I am away. Hope my DVR records all the ones I missed. That is if we didn't have any power outages.
