Today it's off to EPCOT to start the day and give San Angel Inn another shot, we have had mixed dinners/ lunches here and this time we will try again! We head to EPCOT and we ride Imagination and Spaceship Earth and Test Track then head over to our PS at noon , but first we walk from Canada, around to Mexico to kill time before that time.As we come up to the International Gateway we see characters signing and posing for pictures, one of which is Peter Pan.Now I can't really communicate to you how amusing my two teen sons find this character, I guess they just get a good laugh at seeing an adult man dressed as Peter Pan and putting his signature move of his hand on his hip and waving all "happy".So we cross the bridge and they think it will be funny to yell across to him, and they do.Well imagine their surprise when "Peter" hears them, whips around and in his best Peter Pan "hand on the hip" pose and big old wave back, starts jumping up and waving back! I swear if that man could fly he would have flown across the canal there and landed where we were.It was so funny, but you had to be there I guess. We got to San Angel and were seated immediately, and at the water view table, wow what a great table. We order and our waiter is great, much better than the last time we were there.I lived in TX for almost 3 years and this food is Mexican food but I think a bit Americanized. Service I would give an A and food I would rate a B.I would eat here again for Lunch but don't know if I would pay that much for dinner meals. We used the DDE discount again and another great savings. We head back to our room at ASM and take a nap, or attempt to , as tonight is late night at MK, and I mean LATE night, from 12-3AM. One problem of this resort is the lack of well insulated rooms and we can hear every argument in the next room and everything going on outside in the courtyard. It is our last day here and I have decided I will definitely pay more money for a moderate or deluxe but will bypass this Value Resort again, just isn't for me, rooms are too small for me and 2 teen boys and I think it's time for an update in carpet and paint. The CMs have all been fantastic, all 4 days so far, from bathroom attendants,to front desk people and bus drivers! But back to my trip.......
So we get about 3 hours sleep then head off to MK and eat at Columbia Harbour House where we get our usual chicken and fish basket dinners, and eat in the quiet upstairs.I miss the bread bowls they used to serve their soups in.We ride a bunch of things before Late night hours even start. We lasted til 130AM and decide to go,Yes even this Disney World Addicted family of 3 can't stay up to 3AM, my oldest son concedes that at 17 he is getting old and is actually, TIRED!!!!!! We check out tomorrow and head to Royal Pacific Resort at Universal.Again, I have heard so much hype about the resort, I am afraid I will be disappointed, stay tuned, you won't believe the mix up at check in we have there!!! Just unreal!
